Our (key) achievements so far

We have:-• identified and contacted about 400 infrastructures across

Europe and beyond• gathered, analysed, evaluated and organised information from

over 130 Future Internet infrastructures / experimental facilities and test beds from across Europe

• developed and launched a “live” web enabled repository ‘XiPi’• initiated a process to encourage and support interaction, and

collaboration between infrastructure (test bed, experimental infrastructure) owners and application developers (primarily Use Case developers)

• conducted initial analysis of the infrastructure data, towards delivery of an FI roadmap

Invitation to tender: Call for Tools (1/2)

• The INFINITY project has reserved a portion of the project budget to fund specific tasks to be carried out by subcontractors. These subcontractors will be selected by means of a competitive call.

• Possible areas that should be further investigated for the development of Added Value Services are:• integration of existing tools and repositories with XiPi in order

to leverage the current XiPi functionalities (see for example Teagle)

• matchmaking tools in order to help the user to find the "right" infrastructure: comparison of two or more infrastructures, finding similar infrastructures, infrastructure selector and recommender, etc.

• reporting tools23

Invitation to tender: Call for Tools (2/2)

• Deadline for submission: 16 November 2012• Proposals between 5-20k€ (total 38k€)• All relevant information on the INFINITY web site

• Email address for submissions: infinity-call-submission@fi-infinity.eu (subject: “INFINITY: Call for Added Value Services”)
