When and where is it celebrated?

• This festival originated in Ireland and now it is celebrated all over the world on 31st of October. This tradition comes from the Celt Culture.

What do people on that day?• On this day the Celts

built sacred bonfires where the people threw the animals and the crops into it, but now we celebrate it as a game. Some children wear costumes and go from house to house saying “trick or treat?” so people give the kids sweets.

What do they drink or eat?

• On Halloween people eat lots of sweets like chocolate and lollipops.

What do they wear?

• On Halloween children wear costumes such as supernatural figures like monsters, ghosts, skeletons, witches, and devils .

Why do you like this festival?

• We like it because it’s fun and we can wear different disguises!!!
