En 2012, les artistes peuvent intégrer dans leur démarche une variété d’outils et de plateformes de diffusion. Au-delà des médias sociaux tels que Youtube, Twitter et Facebook, ils ont la possibilité de promouvoir leurs œuvres via de nouveaux pôles de diffusion artistique sur le web : galeries virtuelles, portails et réseaux spécialisés, le tout avec ou sans curation. Parallèlement à ces nouveaux médias, de nouveaux médiums font aussi leur apparition et plusieurs artistes flirtent avec les possibilités technologiques d’outils tels que la tablette numérique et le téléphone intelligent. Ces moyens d’expression ont rapidement obtenu la faveur populaire. Reste à savoir quelle place ils prendront dans le milieu des arts. Comment les nouvelles plateformes peuvent-elles être mise au service de l’art ? Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of the mind. What starts out as undefined soon becomes corrupted into a manifesto of futility, leaving only a sense of dread and the prospect of a new undefined.
As wavering derivatives become distorted through studious and personal practice, the viewer is left with an insight into the undefined of our future.
