  • Pré-requis

    B) Pré-requis

    1. Pré-requis générauxLes prérequis logiciels et matériels pour installer LibreOffice sur un système Windows sont les suivants:● Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, ou Windows 8;

    ● PC compatible Pentium (Pentium III, Athlon ou un système plus récent recommandé);

    ● 256 Mo de RAM (512 Mo de RAM recommandés);

    ● jusqu'à 1.5 Gb d'espace disque disponible;

    ● résolution de 1024x768 (résolution supérieure recommandée), avec au moins 256 couleurs.

    GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LI-CENSE

    Version 3, 29 June 2007

Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatimcopies of this license document, but changing it is not al -lowed.

    Preamble

The GNU General Public License is a free, copyleft li-cense for software and other kinds of works.

The licenses for most software and other practical worksare designed to take away your freedom to share andchange the works. By contrast, the GNU General PublicLicense is intended to guarantee your freedom to shareand change all versions of a program--to make sure it re -mains free software for all its users. We, the Free Soft-ware Foundation, use the GNU General Public Licensefor most of our software; it applies also to any otherwork released this way by its authors. You can apply it toyour programs, too.

When we speak of free software, we are referring to free-dom, not price. Our General Public Licenses are de-signed to make sure that you have the freedom to distrib-ute copies of free software (and charge for them if youwish), that you receive source code or can get it if youwant it, that you can change the software or use pieces ofit in new free programs, and that you know you can dothese things.

To protect your rights, we need to prevent others fromdenying you these rights or asking you to surrender therights. Therefore, you have certain responsibilities if youdistribute copies of the software, or if you modify it: re-sponsibilities to respect the freedom of others.

For example, if you distribute copies of such a program, whether gratis or for a fee, you must pass on to the recip-ients the same freedoms that you received. You mustmake sure that they, too, receive or can get the sourcecode. And you must show them these terms so they knowtheir rights.

Developers that use the GNU GPL protect your rightswith two steps: (1) assert copyright on the software, and(2) offer you this License giving you legal permission tocopy, distribute and/or modify it.

For the developers' and authors' protection, the GPLclearly explains that there is no warranty for this freesoftware. For both users' and authors' sake, the GPL re-quires that modified versions be marked as changed, sothat their problems will not be attributed erroneously toauthors of previous versions.

Some devices are designed to deny users access to installor run modified versions of the software inside them, al-though the manufacturer can do so. This is fundament-ally incompatible with the aim of protecting users' free-dom to change the software. The systematic pattern ofsuch abuse occurs in the area of products for individualsto use, which is precisely where it is most unacceptable. Therefore, we have designed this version of the GPL toprohibit the practice for those products. If such problemsarise substantially in other domains, we stand ready toextend this provision to those domains in future versionsof the GPL, as needed to protect the freedom of users.

Finally, every program is threatened constantly by soft-ware patents. States should not allow patents to restrictdevelopment and use of software on general-purposecomputers, but in those that do, we wish to avoid the spe-cial danger that patents applied to a free program couldmake it effectively proprietary. To prevent this, the GPLassures that patents cannot be used to render the programnon-free.

The precise terms and conditions for copying, distribu-tion and modification follow.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    0. Definitions.

“This License” refers to version 3 of the GNU GeneralPublic License.

“Copyright” also means copyright-like laws that apply toother kinds of works, such as semiconductor masks.

“The Program” refers to any copyrightable work licensedunder this License. Each licensee is addressed as “you”.“Licensees” and “recipients” may be individuals or or-ganizations.

To “modify” a work means to copy from or adapt all or

part of the work in a fashion requiring copyright permis-sion, other than the making of an exact copy. The result-ing work is called a “modified version” of the earlierwork or a work “based on” the earlier work.

A “covered work” means either the unmodified Programor a work based on the Program.

To “propagate” a work means to do anything with it that, without permission, would make you directly or second-arily liable for infringement under applicable copyrightlaw, except executing it on a computer or modifying aprivate copy. Propagation includes copying, distribution(with or without modification), making available to thepublic, and in some countries other activities as well.

To “convey” a work means any kind of propagation thatenables other parties to make or receive copies. Mere in-teraction with a user through a computer network, withno transfer of a copy, is not conveying.

An interactive user interface displays “Appropriate LegalNotices” to the extent that it includes a convenient andprominently visible feature that (1) displays an appropri-ate copyright notice, and (2) tells the user that there is nowarranty for the work (except to the extent that war-ranties are provided), that licensees may convey the workunder this License, and how to view a copy of this Li -cense. If the interface presents a list of user commands oroptions, such as a menu, a prominent item in the listmeets this criterion.

    1. Source Code.

The “source code” for a work means the preferred formof the work for making modifications to it. “Objectcode” means any non-source form of a work.

A “Standard Interface” means an interface that either isan official standard defined by a recognized standardsbody, or, in the case of interfaces specified for a particu-lar programming language, one that is widely usedamong developers working in that language.

The “System Libraries” of an executable work includeanything, other than the work as a whole, that (a) is in-cluded in the normal form of packaging a Major Com-ponent, but which is not part of that Major Component, and (b) serves only to enable use of the work with thatMajor Component, or to implement a Standard Interfacefor which an implementation is available to the public insource code form. A “Major Component”, in this context, means a major essential component (kernel, window sys-tem, and so on) of the specific operating system (if any)on which the executable work runs, or a compiler used toproduce the work, or an object code interpreter used torun it.

The “Corresponding Source” for a work in object codeform means all the source code needed to generate, in-stall, and (for an executable work) run the object codeand to modify the work, including scripts to control thoseactivities. However, it does not include the work's Sys-tem Libraries, or general-purpose tools or generallyavailable free programs which are used unmodified inperforming those activities but which are not part of thework. For example, Corresponding Source includes in-terface definition files associated with source files for thework, and the source code for shared libraries and dy-namically linked subprograms that the work is specific-ally designed to require, such as by intimate data com-munication or control flow between those subprogramsand other parts of the work.

The Corresponding Source need not include anythingthat users can regenerate automatically from other partsof the Corresponding Source.

The Corresponding Source for a work in source codeform is that same work.

    2. Basic Permissions.

All rights granted under this License are granted for theterm of copyright on the Program, and are irrevocableprovided the stated conditions are met. This License ex-plicitly affirms your unlimited permission to run the un-modified Program. The output from running a coveredwork is covered by this License only if the output, givenits content, constitutes a covered work. This License ac-knowledges your rights of fair use or other equivalent, asprovided by copyright law.

You may make, run and propagate covered works thatyou do not convey, without conditions so long as your li -cense otherwise remains in force. You may conveycovered works to others for the sole purpose of havingthem make modifications exclusively for you, or provideyou with facilities for running those works, provided thatyou comply with the terms of this License in conveyingall material for which you do not control copyright.

Those thus making or running the covered works for youmust do so exclusively on your behalf, under your direc-tion and control, on terms that prohibit them from mak-ing any copies of your copyrighted material outside theirrelationship with you.

Conveying under any other circumstances is permittedsolely under the conditions stated below. Sublicensing isnot allowed; section 10 makes it unnecessary.

    3. Protecting Users' Legal Rights From Anti-Circum-vention Law.

No covered work shall be deemed part of an effectivetechnological measure under any applicable law ful-filling obligations under article 11 of the WIPO copy-right treaty adopted on 20 December 1996, or similarlaws prohibiting or restricting circumvention of suchmeasures.

When you convey a covered work, you waive any legalpower to forbid circumvention of technological measuresto the extent such circumvention is effected by exer-cising rights under this License with respect to thecovered work, and you disclaim any intention to limitoperation or modification of the work as a means of en-forcing, against the work's users, your or third parties'legal rights to forbid circumvention of technologicalmeasures.

    4. Conveying Verbatim Copies.

You may convey verbatim copies of the Program's sourcecode as you receive it, in any medium, provided that youconspicuously and appropriately publish on each copy anappropriate copyright notice; keep intact all notices stat-ing that this License and any non-permissive terms addedin accord with section 7 apply to the code; keep intact allnotices of the absence of any warranty; and give all re-cipients a copy of this License along with the Program.

You may charge any price or no price for each copy thatyou convey, and you may offer support or warranty pro-tection for a fee.

    5. Conveying Modified Source Versions.

You may convey a work based on the Program, or themodifications to produce it from the Program, in theform of source code under the terms of section 4,provided that you also meet all of these conditions:

    ■ a) The work must carry prominent notices stating thatyou modified it, and giving a relevant date.

    ■ b) The work must carry prominent notices stating that itis released under this License and any conditions addedunder section 7. This requirement modifies the require-ment in section 4 to “keep intact all notices”.

    ■ c) You must license the entire work, as a whole, underthis License to anyone who comes into possession of acopy. This License will therefore apply, along with anyapplicable section 7 additional terms, to the whole of thework, and all its parts, regardless of how they are pack-aged. This License gives no permission to license thework in any other way, but it does not invalidate suchpermission if you have separately received it.

    ■ d) If the work has interactive user interfaces, each mustdisplay Appropriate Legal Notices; however, if the Pro-gram has interactive interfaces that do not display Ap-propriate Legal Notices, your work need not make themdo so.

A compilation of a covered work with other separate andindependent works, which are not by their nature exten-sions of the covered work, and which are not combinedwith it such as to form a larger program, in or on avolume of a storage or distribution medium, is called an“aggregate” if the compilation and its resulting copyrightare not used to limit the access or legal rights of the com-pilation's users beyond what the individual works permit.Inclusion of a covered work in an aggregate does notcause this License to apply to the other parts of the ag-gregate.

    6. Conveying Non-Source Forms.

You may convey a covered work in object code form un-der the terms of sections 4 and 5, provided that you alsoconvey the machine-readable Corresponding Source un-der the terms of this License, in one of these ways:

    ■ a) Convey the object code in, or embodied in, a physicalproduct (including a physical distribution medium), ac-companied by the Corresponding Source fixed on a dur-able physical medium customarily used for software in-terchange.

    ■ b) Convey the object code in, or embodied in, a physicalproduct (including a physical distribution medium), ac-companied by a written offer, valid for at least threeyears and valid for as long as you offer spare parts orcustomer support for that product model, to give anyone

who possesses the object code either (1) a copy of theCorresponding Source for all the software in the productthat is covered by this License, on a durable physicalmedium customarily used for software interchange, for aprice no more than your reasonable cost of physicallyperforming this conveying of source, or (2) access tocopy the Corresponding Source from a network server atno charge.

    ■ c) Convey individual copies of the object code with acopy of the written offer to provide the CorrespondingSource. This alternative is allowed only occasionallyand noncommercially, and only if you received the ob-ject code with such an offer, in accord with subsection6b.

    ■ d) Convey the object code by offering access from adesignated place (gratis or for a charge), and offer equi-valent access to the Corresponding Source in the sameway through the same place at no further charge. Youneed not require recipients to copy the CorrespondingSource along with the object code. If the place to copythe object code is a network server, the CorrespondingSource may be on a different server (operated by you ora third party) that supports equivalent copying facilities, provided you maintain clear directions next to the objectcode saying where to find the Corresponding Source.Regardless of what server hosts the CorrespondingSource, you remain obligated to ensure that it is avail-able for as long as needed to satisfy these requirements.

    ■ e) Convey the object code using peer-to-peer transmis-sion, provided you inform other peers where the objectcode and Corresponding Source of the work are beingoffered to the general public at no charge under subsec-tion 6d.

A separable portion of the object code, whose sourcecode is excluded from the Corresponding Source as aSystem Library, need not be included in conveying theobject code work.

A “User Product” is either (1) a “consumer product”,which means any tangible personal property which isnormally used for personal, family, or household pur-poses, or (2) anything designed or sold for incorporationinto a dwelling. In determining whether a product is aconsumer product, doubtful cases shall be resolved in fa-vor of coverage. For a particular product received by aparticular user, “normally used” refers to a typical orcommon use of that class of product, regardless of thestatus of the particular user or of the way in which theparticular user actually uses, or expects or is expected touse, the product. A product is a consumer product regard-less of whether the product has substantial commercial, industrial or non-consumer uses, unless such uses repres-ent the only significant mode of use of the product.

“Installation Information” for a User Product means anymethods, procedures, authorization keys, or other in-formation required to install and execute modified ver-sions of a covered work in that User Product from amodified version of its Corresponding Source. The in-formation must suffice to ensure that the continued func-tioning of the modified object code is in no case preven-ted or interfered with solely because modification hasbeen made.

If you convey an object code work under this section in,or with, or specifically for use in, a User Product, and theconveying occurs as part of a transaction in which theright of possession and use of the User Product is trans-ferred to the recipient in perpetuity or for a fixed term(regardless of how the transaction is characterized), theCorresponding Source conveyed under this section mustbe accompanied by the Installation Information. But thisrequirement does not apply if neither you nor any thirdparty retains the ability to install modified object code onthe User Product (for example, the work has been in-stalled in ROM).

The requirement to provide Installation Information doesnot include a requirement to continue to provide supportservice, warranty, or updates for a work that has beenmodified or installed by the recipient, or for the UserProduct in which it has been modified or installed. Ac-cess to a network may be denied when the modificationitself materially and adversely affects the operation ofthe network or violates the rules and protocols for com-munication across the network.

Corresponding Source conveyed, and Installation In-formation provided, in accord with this section must bein a format that is publicly documented (and with an im-plementation available to the public in source codeform), and must require no special password or key forunpacking, reading or copying.

    7. Additional Terms.

“Additional permissions” are terms that supplement theterms of this License by making exceptions from one ormore of its conditions. Additional permissions that areapplicable to the entire Program shall be treated as

    2014-11-29 Version: 0.1.1 15 / 16

  • Licence publique générale GNU

though they were included in this License, to the extentthat they are valid under applicable law. If additional per-missions apply only to part of the Program, that part maybe used separately under those permissions, but the entireProgram remains governed by this License without re-gard to the additional permissions.

When you convey a copy of a covered work, you may atyour option remove any additional permissions from thatcopy, or from any part of it. (Additional permissions maybe written to require their own removal in certain caseswhen you modify the work.) You may place additionalpermissions on material, added by you to a coveredwork, for which you have or can give appropriate copy-right permission.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this License, formaterial you add to a covered work, you may (if author -ized by the copyright holders of that material) supple-ment the terms of this License with terms:

    ■ a) Disclaiming warranty or limiting liability differentlyfrom the terms of sections 15 and 16 of this License; or

    ■ b) Requiring preservation of specified reasonable legalnotices or author attributions in that material or in theAppropriate Legal Notices displayed by works contain-ing it; or

    ■ c) Prohibiting misrepresentation of the origin of that ma-terial, or requiring that modified versions of such mater-ial be marked in reasonable ways as different from theoriginal version; or

    ■ d) Limiting the use for publicity purposes of names of li-censors or authors of the material; or

    ■ e) Declining to grant rights under trademark law for useof some trade names, trademarks, or service marks; or

    ■ f) Requiring indemnification of licensors and authors ofthat material by anyone who conveys the material (ormodified versions of it) with contractual assumptions ofliability to the recipient, for any liability that these con-tractual assumptions directly impose on those licensorsand authors.

All other non-permissive additional terms are considered“further restrictions” within the meaning of section 10. Ifthe Program as you received it, or any part of it, containsa notice stating that it is governed by this License alongwith a term that is a further restriction, you may removethat term. If a license document contains a further restric-tion but permits relicensing or conveying under this Li-cense, you may add to a covered work material governedby the terms of that license document, provided that thefurther restriction does not survive such relicensing orconveying.

If you add terms to a covered work in accord with thissection, you must place, in the relevant source files, astatement of the additional terms that apply to those files,or a notice indicating where to find the applicable terms.

Additional terms, permissive or non-permissive, may bestated in the form of a separately written license, orstated as exceptions; the above requirements apply eitherway.

    8. Termination.

You may not propagate or modify a covered work exceptas expressly provided under this License. Any attemptotherwise to propagate or modify it is void, and willautomatically terminate your rights under this License(including any patent licenses granted under the thirdparagraph of section 11).

However, if you cease all violation of this License, thenyour license from a particular copyright holder is rein-stated (a) provisionally, unless and until the copyrightholder explicitly and finally terminates your license, and(b) permanently, if the copyright holder fails to notifyyou of the violation by some reasonable means prior to60 days after the cessation.

Moreover, your license from a particular copyrightholder is reinstated permanently if the copyright holdernotifies you of the violation by some reasonable means, this is the first time you have received notice of violationof this License (for any work) from that copyright holder, and you cure the violation prior to 30 days after your re-ceipt of the notice.

Termination of your rights under this section does notterminate the licenses of parties who have received cop-ies or rights from you under this License. If your rightshave been terminated and not permanently reinstated, you do not qualify to receive new licenses for the samematerial under section 10.

    9. Acceptance Not Required for Having Copies.

You are not required to accept this License in order to re-ceive or run a copy of the Program. Ancillary propaga-tion of a covered work occurring solely as a consequence

of using peer-to-peer transmission to receive a copy like-wise does not require acceptance. However, nothingother than this License grants you permission to propag-ate or modify any covered work. These actions infringecopyright if you do not accept this License. Therefore, bymodifying or propagating a covered work, you indicateyour acceptance of this License to do so.

    10. Automatic Licensing of Downstream Recipients.

Each time you convey a covered work, the recipientautomatically receives a license from the original li-censors, to run, modify and propagate that work, subjectto this License. You are not responsible for enforcingcompliance by third parties with this License.

An “entity transaction” is a transaction transferring con-trol of an organization, or substantially all assets of one,or subdividing an organization, or merging organizations. If propagation of a covered work results from an entitytransaction, each party to that transaction who receives acopy of the work also receives whatever licenses to thework the party's predecessor in interest had or could giveunder the previous paragraph, plus a right to possessionof the Corresponding Source of the work from the prede-cessor in interest, if the predecessor has it or can get itwith reasonable efforts.

You may not impose any further restrictions on the exer-cise of the rights granted or affirmed under this License. For example, you may not impose a license fee, royalty,or other charge for exercise of rights granted under thisLicense, and you may not initiate litigation (including across-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging thatany patent claim is infringed by making, using, selling, offering for sale, or importing the Program or any por-tion of it.

    11. Patents.

A “contributor” is a copyright holder who authorizes useunder this License of the Program or a work on whichthe Program is based. The work thus licensed is calledthe contributor's “contributor version”.

A contributor's “essential patent claims” are all patentclaims owned or controlled by the contributor, whetheralready acquired or hereafter acquired, that would be in-fringed by some manner, permitted by this License, ofmaking, using, or selling its contributor version, but donot include claims that would be infringed only as a con-sequence of further modification of the contributor ver-sion. For purposes of this definition, “control” includesthe right to grant patent sublicenses in a manner consist -ent with the requirements of this License.

Each contributor grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide,royalty-free patent license under the contributor's essen-tial patent claims, to make, use, sell, offer for sale, im-port and otherwise run, modify and propagate the con-tents of its contributor version.

In the following three paragraphs, a “patent license” isany express agreement or commitment, however denom-inated, not to enforce a patent (such as an express per-mission to practice a patent or covenant not to sue forpatent infringement). To “grant” such a patent license toa party means to make such an agreement or commit-ment not to enforce a patent against the party.

If you convey a covered work, knowingly relying on apatent license, and the Corresponding Source of the workis not available for anyone to copy, free of charge andunder the terms of this License, through a publicly avail-able network server or other readily accessible means, then you must either (1) cause the Corresponding Sourceto be so available, or (2) arrange to deprive yourself ofthe benefit of the patent license for this particular work,or (3) arrange, in a manner consistent with the require-ments of this License, to extend the patent license todownstream recipients. “Knowingly relying” means youhave actual knowledge that, but for the patent license, your conveying the covered work in a country, or yourrecipient's use of the covered work in a country, wouldinfringe one or more identifiable patents in that countrythat you have reason to believe are valid.

If, pursuant to or in connection with a single transactionor arrangement, you convey, or propagate by procuringconveyance of, a covered work, and grant a patent li -cense to some of the parties receiving the covered workauthorizing them to use, propagate, modify or convey aspecific copy of the covered work, then the patent licenseyou grant is automatically extended to all recipients ofthe covered work and works based on it.

A patent license is “discriminatory” if it does not includewithin the scope of its coverage, prohibits the exerciseof, or is conditioned on the non-exercise of one or moreof the rights that are specifically granted under this Li -cense. You may not convey a covered work if you are a

party to an arrangement with a third party that is in thebusiness of distributing software, under which you makepayment to the third party based on the extent of youractivity of conveying the work, and under which thethird party grants, to any of the parties who would re-ceive the covered work from you, a discriminatory patentlicense (a) in connection with copies of the covered workconveyed by you (or copies made from those copies), or(b) primarily for and in connection with specific productsor compilations that contain the covered work, unlessyou entered into that arrangement, or that patent licensewas granted, prior to 28 March 2007.

Nothing in this License shall be construed as excludingor limiting any implied license or other defenses to in-fringement that may otherwise be available to you underapplicable patent law.

    12. No Surrender of Others' Freedom.

If conditions are imposed on you (whether by court or-der, agreement or otherwise) that contradict the condi-tions of this License, they do not excuse you from theconditions of this License. If you cannot convey acovered work so as to satisfy simultaneously your oblig-ations under this License and any other pertinent obliga-tions, then as a consequence you may not convey it at all.For example, if you agree to terms that obligate you tocollect a royalty for further conveying from those towhom you convey the Program, the only way you couldsatisfy both those terms and this License would be to re -frain entirely from conveying the Program.

    13. Use with the GNU Affero General Public License.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this License, youhave permission to link or combine any covered workwith a work licensed under version 3 of the GNU AfferoGeneral Public License into a single combined work, andto convey the resulting work. The terms of this Licensewill continue to apply to the part which is the coveredwork, but the special requirements of the GNU AfferoGeneral Public License, section 13, concerning interac-tion through a network will apply to the combination assuch.

    14. Revised Versions of this License.

The Free Software Foundation may publish revisedand/or new versions of the GNU General Public Licensefrom time to time. Such new versions will be similar inspirit to the present version, but may differ in detail toaddress new problems or concerns.

Each version is given a distinguishing version number. Ifthe Program specifies that a certain numbered version ofthe GNU General Public License “or any later version”applies to it, you have the option of following the termsand conditions either of that numbered version or of anylater version published by the Free Software Foundation. If the Program does not specify a version number of theGNU General Public License, you may choose any ver-sion ever published by the Free Software Foundation.

If the Program specifies that a proxy can decide whichfuture versions of the GNU General Public License canbe used, that proxy's public statement of acceptance of aversion permanently authorizes you to choose that ver-sion for the Program.

Later license versions may give you additional or differ-ent permissions. However, no additional obligations areimposed on any author or copyright holder as a result ofyour choosing to follow a later version.

    15. Disclaimer of Warranty.

THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM,TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLELAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED INWRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OROTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE PROGRAM “AS IS”WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHEREXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOTLIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OFMERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PAR-TICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THEQUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PRO-GRAM IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE PROGRAMPROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OFALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR COR-RECTION.

    16. Limitation of Liability.

IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLIC-ABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING WILLANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHERPARTY WHO MODIFIES AND/OR CONVEYS THEPROGRAM AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLETO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GEN-

ERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUEN-TIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE ORINABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDINGBUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATABEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSESSUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR AFAILURE OF THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITHANY OTHER PROGRAMS), EVEN IF SUCHHOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISEDOF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

    17. Interpretation of Sections 15 and 16.

If the disclaimer of warranty and limitation of liabilityprovided above cannot be given local legal effect accord-ing to their terms, reviewing courts shall apply local lawthat most closely approximates an absolute waiver of allcivil liability in connection with the Program, unless awarranty or assumption of liability accompanies a copyof the Program in return for a fee.
