own production in La Palma (Cartagena).

Manufacturas Tomás, S.A. o como mundialmente se le conoce MT HELMETS, comienza su andadura con

la producción propia en La Palma (Cartagena).

On this date, the company decides to build their injection plant under the supervision of companies like Bayer, GE and

Basf, with the aim of manufacturing its own helmets ap-proved by the Real Federación Motociclismo Española.

En esta fecha, se decide montar la planta de inyección bajo la supervisión de firmas como Bayer, GE y Basf, dirigida a la propia fabricación de cascos y homologados por la R.F. de

Motociclismo Española.

It is officially mandatory to use a helmet, which therefore introduces the regulation CE-22.04. This regulation takes over the existing certification that

was only valid for mopeds.

Se crea la obligación del uso del casco, creándose por ello la nueva normativa CE-22.04, absorbiendo la existente certificación anterior solo válida para

ciclomotores.

EN The Carbon Fibre is a high-performance material used in MotoGP and SBK competitions, that gives the perfect strength while being extremely light.

EN FRC (Fiber Reinforce Composite) is made of precisely over-lapped fibers mixed with a high-quality resin, that creates resis-tance and an exceptionally light material.

EN The Tricomposite material is a formula based on three differ-ent types of fibers interlaced, each one of them improving the flexibility, lightness and impact resistance of the helmet.

EN The HIRP (Hight Impact Resistant Polymer) material is cre-ated by an injected polymer in high-performance moulds to ob-tain properties such as lightness and impact resistance of the helmet.

DOT CERTIFIED (USA), ECE/ONU 22.05.P (EU) and SNELL USA (USA) cover the most challenging US and European homologation standards. We have also been granted with the NTC 4533 (Colom-bia) and NBR7471 (Brazil). Anti-fog / Antivaho EN The leading helmet manufacturers, as well as riders, agree on the fact that the Pinlock® lens insertion is the best solu-tion against fogging. This is the reason why Pinlock® lens are usually supplied together with helmets. Apart from the helmet manufacturer convinced with Pinlock®, specialized motorcycle magazines also show Pinlock® as the winner year after year. Pinlock® lens are made of plastic that ab-sorbs moisture. The Pinlock® silicone lens ensures the ex-istence of a insulating air layer between the Pinlock® lens insertion and the visor. The pins between the lens and the visor are eccentric, so that the axxis of the pin is not exactly in the center.ES Los fabricantes líderes de cascos, y también los motoci-clistas, coinciden en que la inserción Pinlock® es la mejor solución contra el empañamiento.
