When ordering a Ci MT2-10 Manifold an orifice kit must also be ordered for each manifold in order to connectthe manifold to the pipe system. These kits are available with ISO 7 or NPT thread.The Ci MT1 has the orifice integrated in the body and connects directly to the pipe system. The tread of theMT1 is ½” which can be used for both ISO and NPT sockets

MT1

The orifice in the manifold is calibrated by drilling the hole in accordance with the IMT calculation.

A suitable thread sealant (PTFE tape, yarn or similar) is applied to the thread in accordance with themanufacturer’s recommendations.

The manifold is screwed into the pipe system socket and tightened (50-60 Nm).

MT2-10

The orifice kit is calibrated and installed in accordance with its specification.

The o-ring which comes with the manifold is placed in the grove in the orifice kit.

The manifold is held up to the orifice and the union is screwed onto the manifold and tightened (20-50Nm).It is important to be careful not to soil or damage the o-ring when installing the manifold.

The calibrated orifice kit (manifold adapter) is screwed onto the pipe system.

Ci MT 1 Manif o ld

The Ci MT 1 Manifold [305601] does not have a check valve.The orifice is integral to the manifold body.If a check valve is required for the installation, a Ci MT 2 Manifold [305602] can be used, leaving one inletunconnected.
