Le « vidé » en créole signifie défiler derrière les chars de carnaval. Ce rythme est plus rapide car c’est une biguine pour le carnarval. J’utilise un buzz sur la caisse caisse avec la main gauche.

Much faster tempo - Carnival Biguine. The “vidé” is the parade of revellers who are following the Carnival float. I play a buzz (press roll) on the snare drum with the left hand.

Se jouait beaucoup dans les années 70 notamment par des groupes tels que Les Aiglons, les Vicking de la Guade-loupe, Universal, Typical Combo, Galaxie, etc… Le mouve-ment se fait à la caisse claire et au tom aigu. J’étouffe le tom avec la baguette.

In the 70’s, groups such as Les Aiglons, les Vickings de la Guadeloupe, Universal, Typical Combo and Galaxie played this rhythm very often. The pattern is played on the snare drum and the small tom. I press the tom with the stick.
