EDITORS NOTE/NOTE DU REDACTEUR

This double issue of the Canadian Slavonic Papers features articles on the great Russian author, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, in honour of his receiving the Nobel Prize in Literature, 1970. Four of the articles are by Canadian graduate students, and the Canadian Slavonic Papers is pleased to thus be able to help and encourage young scholars in their academic careers. The editors wish to thank Professor Gleb Zekulin of the University of Toronto for the assistance given us in preparing this issue.

Readers who so desire may order extra copies of this special Solzhenitsyn issue at $4.00 per copy by writing to the Canadian Slavonic Papers9 editorial office.
