    It was a

    good

    time

    I as we

    we

    One

    example

    of

    what

    I mean. We made

    a

    stop

    in

    Joplin

    Mo. for a

    speaking

engagement at Ozark Bible College in t he m or

ning with a scheduled trip to Tulsa

    Oklahoma

    that

    same evening.

    Because

    Vi h ad b ec om e a

    th e trailer in Joplin

    and

    1would go to Tulsa

    return to Joplin

that same night. 1 m ad e the trip to Tulsa ha d

of Tul sa the alt ernator on the

an d no way to let Vi know that 1 was having

problems, and not a lot of money in my

    pocket.

    That

    is when I realized I ha d a

    problem.

1 began to work it out

    on

    my ow n

    much

    success.

    I

    had

replaced, he said. But the problem was no t

i mpr ov ed b eca us e he would not accept any of

my credit cards or a check

    an d

    I did not have

enough cash to pay the ill Then the Lord

    gave me th e answer . 1

    remembered

    Christ In

Everyone of the CIV team that I could think of

    UNIT

    III

    Unit III

    977

    What Happened???

    It is

    true

    the proposed

    plans

    for Ninos

    de

    Mexico included

    the

    opening

of Unit III in 1977. It did not happen and it appears it willnot happen in

    1978.

    WHY?

    TWO

    REASONS

    Number

One -We felt we just could not begin this Unit now financially.

    We have always felt

    the

    need of having the

    money

    or at least a

    good

    way of handling our

    needs

without a constant appeal to you to Bail us

    out of our

    indebtedness.

This we felt could not happen now. We still

    have a few building

    needs

at Units I and II and

    those

    we want to finish.

    Being

    debt

    free

    on

    our

    properties

    now means

    we

    can

    finish

    and

    pray

for the remaining needs as we go then Unit IIIcan happen.

    Number Two

    - There was a need of additional staff members

    to

    handle

    the ever

    growing responsibilities of

    our

    program. Two

    new

    staff mem

    bers have

    been

    added with

    the

possibility of a third member this spring.

They will be able to relieve some of the

    pressures

    of

    the

    work load.

    We

    are

    very excited about

    the

    possibility of Unit

    very soon. We have

    house parents in

    mind

who want to come. We have children in need of

a home. We now have staff members to handle the responsibilities. Unit
