Lecture Series June 7, from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm
June 8, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm
Target Audience
• Radiologists • Radiologists in training • Medical imaging technologists
Learning Objectives
At the end of the seminar, the participant will be able: • To define and establish the essential role of Breast Ultra-
sound and MR for differentiation between benign and ma-lignant breast lesions.
• To define and assess ways to improve diagnostic accura-cy in order to minimize false negative and false positive rates in MR, Mammo, US.
• To correlate Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance, Digital mammography and pathology: diag-nostic and interventional techniques, imaging of in situ vs invasive carcinoma. Imaging of lobular carcinoma.
• To define and assess the role of screening breast ultra-sound, screening mammography, magnetic resonance and digital mammography in high risk patients.
At the end of this seminar the participants will not only ex-pand their clinical MR knowledge, but will also learn, by inter-acting with the experts, ways to improve their diagnostic MR accuracy. They will also learn to use MR as an efficient di-agnostic and complementary tool to Mammography and Ul-trasonography, in order to achieve a more accurate diagnosis of pathology.
Methodology
• Lectures • Q & A • Round table Please note that at least 25 % of the time includes interactivi-ty between participants and lecturers.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the seminar, the parcipant will be able:
• To interpret Magnec resonance examinaon of the breast.
• To evaluate the importance of dense breast parenchyma, define its limita-
ons and determine means of improving or detecon rate in these paents.
• To define and assess the role of the MR in the work up of breast lesions.
• To define means to decrease our recall rate in breast screening mammogra-
phy.
At the end of this seminar the parcipants will not only expand their clinical MR
knowledge, but will also learn, by interacng with the experts, ways to improve
their diagnosc MR accuracy. They will also learn to use MR as an efficient diag-
nosc and complementary tool to Mammography and Ultrasonography, in order
to achieve a more accurate diagnosis of pathology.
