This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity as de-fined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the RoyalCollege of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons has designatedthis live educational activity for a maximum of 26.75 section 1credits.

YOUNG PLASTIC SURGEONS SYMPOSIUM

The Young Plastic Surgeons Committee is an integral componentof the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Our mission is to support our new members in their efforts toprovide the highest quality patient care by upholding andadvancing the discipline of plastic surgery across Canada througheducation, research and professional activities.

Although our targeted audience is active CSPS members under42 years of age or less than 5 years in practice, we welcomeall members of the CSPS, regardless of age or years in practice,to attend, participate and contribute to our forums.

This year our 4th annual YPS symposium has 2 parts. Wehave chosen topics that are relevant to anyone in practice.

1400 - 1500: Litigation and its AvoidanceDr. Steven Bellemare, a CMPA representative, will give a 30minute plenary followed by a 30 minute panel discussioncosmetic and non-cosmetic cases (Dr. Bryan Callaghan, Dr.Greg Waslen)
