Collectif CEASECEASE est un collectif bas Montral fond par Alan Ganev, AJ Korkidadis & Laurier Clark. CEASE cre des projets collaboratifs artistiques mariant arts visuels, design et technologie. Lorganisation estime que lidentit artistique de Montral rside dans le dsordre de ses galeries, des multiples studios et des collectifs existant. Il sefforce de partager et de contribuer cette identit par le biais dvnements. CEASE a travaill sur des projets denvergure Montral, incluant au palais des congrs, la socit des arts technologiques (SAT), la place des arts et au centre mondial du commerce pour des clients et partenaires tels que Toyota, ARTV, Arte (France-Allemagne), le FIFA, Qubecor, AMT et Pop Montral.

CEASE is a Montreal-based collective founded by Alan Ganev, AJ Korkidakis & Laurier Clark. CEASE creates collaborative artistic projects where merge visual arts, design and technology. The organization believes that Montreals artistic identity can be found within the citys mess of galleries, studios, col-lectives and most of fall, on its streets. We endeavor to share and contribute to this identity through our events & art initiatives. CEASE has worked on projects at key locations across Montreal such as the Palais des Congrs, So-cit des arts technologiques (SAT), Place des Arts and the Centre Mondial de Commerce for clients and partners such as Toyota, ARTV, ARTE (Fran-ce-Germany), FIFA, Quebecor AMT, Art Souterrain & Pop Montreal.

Collectif CEASE Collectif EN MASSEEN MASSE, base Montral, est une initiative de collaboration artistique fond par Jason Botkin et Tim Barnard en 2009, dans le but de permettre a des artistes mergents no-Pop dexplorer la cration dune uvre collective en ralisant un projet beau-coup plus important que sils taient chacun de leur cot. Avec pour formation initiale les romans graphiques, les graffitis, le design et les beaux-arts, les artistes prenant part au projet crent, de faon spontanes en fonction de la spcificit du site, des dessins de grande chelle et toujours en noir et blanc.

EN MASSE is a Montreal-based collaborative drawing initiative founded by Jason Botkin and Tim Barnard in 2009, with the intention of allowing emerging Neo-Pop artists an opportunity to explore the creation of a collective vision, greater than each could create on their own. With backgrounds in graphic novels, graffiti, design and the fine arts, the artists who take part in the project, working always in black and white, create highly spontaneous, site-specific large-scale drawings.

TRIO MAGNUSTRIO MAGNUS est un collectif bas Toronto compos dillustrateurs plusieurs fois rcompenses : Clayton Hanmer, Aaron Leighton et Steve Wilson. Form en 2007, le but initial de ce collectif tait de dessiner dans des carnets de croquis tout en coutant Zeppelin et en buvant de la bire. Le collectif a continu crer de lart sous toutes ses formes pour diverses raisons, y compris un livre intitul Equally Superior (Koyama Press, 2007) comprenant des illustrations, des installations, de la srigraphie ainsi que dnormes des-sins collectifs, certains allant jusqu 18 pieds de long. En dehors des diverses galeries Toronto, TRIO MAGNUS a expos son travail Tokyo au Design Fiesta et Cal-gary, a la galerie UPPERCASE. Runis dabord par amour des carnets de croquis, des personnages et des excs visuels, les membres de TRIO MAGNUS continuent librer leur crativit sur des surfaces vierges de toutes sortes, en ne faisant aucun prisonnier et en passant des bons moments.

TRIO MAGNUS is a Toronto-based illustration collective featuring award-win-ning illustrators, Clayton Hanmer, Aaron Leighton and Steve Wilson. Formed in 2007 with the express purpose of drawing in sketchbooks while listening to Zeppelin and drinking beer, the group has gone on to create all sorts of art for all sorts of reasons, including a book titled Equally Superior (Koyama Press, 2007), editorial illustrations, installations, silkscreened prints and art shows featuring huge collaborative drawings, some up to 18 feet long. TRIO MAGNUS has also exhibited their work in Tokyo at Design Festa and in Calgary at UPPERCASE gallery, as well as having done live drawing at both the Toronto Comic Arts Festival and the Canadian Beatbox Cham-pionships in Toronto. Brought together initially by a love of sketchbooks, characters and visual excess, the members of TRIO MAGNUS continue to unleash creative kung-fu on blank surfaces of all types, taking no prisoners and having a great time along the way.

TRIO MAGNUS GAIAGaia, est un artiste new-yorkais bas Baltimore qui utilise une technique de collage en mi-lieu urbain. Il appose des images peintes, dessines, srigraphies sur du papier quil affiche sur les cimaises de nos villes. De Baltimore San Francisco en passant par Amsterdam et Soul, Gaia a sillonn les grandes villes de la plante pour intgrer ce rseau international et informel dartistes qui utilisent lenvironnement urbain comme une plateforme la fois source et sujette la crativit et lactivisme social. Grce des interventions artistiques, Gaia, qui agit sous un pseudonyme qui rfre dans la mythologie Grecque la Desse mre, travaille sur des problmatiques lies limmigration, la sgrgation et dnonce les motivations conomiques irresponsables qui affaiblissent les communauts vulnrables.

Parmi les noms qui reviennent toujours lorsquon voque le street art, il y a Gaia. Artiste en vogue, ses srigraphies taient vendre la Galerie Ad Hoc dans le quartier de Bushwick (NY) qui fait salle comble pour loccasion.- The New York Times

Gaia is a Baltimore-based artist, known for using a wallpaper-like technique: using wheat-paste to adhere large scale linoleum prints onto billboards and buil-ding exteriors. Working in cities that range from Baltimore and San Francisco to Amsterdam and Seoul, Gaia is one of a legion of anonymous street artists who take the urban environment as a platform for creative expression and social activism. Through artistic interventions, Gaia, who operates under a pseu-donym that refers to the Greek earth goddess, has explored such issues as immigration and segregation, the need to foster the presence of nature within urban contexts, and the economic motivations that can weaken communities through irresponsible development.
