MUSEUM LOBBY DESIGN (2012)- Leave a Trace

#043D RENDERING

MOTIVATION

Media based “Nature History Museum Lobby” design. The Natural History Museum will break away from the stereotype of the Natural History Museum’s lobby design where it always begins with dinosaur skeleton sculptures. Prior to the museum entrance, the nature space area will provide to the audiences that can experience the nature and in between stratum, there will be a media area where people can leave their own traces. The trace that has been left by audiences will bring audiences back to the museum and provide affordance. Also the audience’s traces will connect between the past and future history with metaphor message.
