ALL Ceremonies: Receptions will be held in the quadrangle outside of Alumnae, Good Counsel, and Loyola Halls (weather permitting). If it rains, receptions will be in the large gym (Alumnae Hall).

COMMENCEMENTSITE

PARKING INFORMATIONParking Lots: All campus parking lots, except for Lot G,will be open for parking.

Passenger Drop-Off: Parking Lot G on Alumnae Drive

Disability parking: Designated parking spaces may be limited in close proximity to Alumnae Hall. Drivers should be prepared to drop off passengers at the passenger drop-off location prior to parking their vehicle in the nearest available lot.

No parking areas: Parking is not permitted along campus roadways or on grassy areas. Parking on roadways will restrict the smooth flow of traffic. More importantly, parked vehicles may impede the access of emergency vehicles.

COMMENCEMENT 2019

COMMENCEMENT KEY ARRIVING AT COMMENCEMENTAlumnae Drive should be used to access the passenger drop-off location (Lot G) as well as the parking lots closest to Alumnae Hall, the site of the Commencement ceremony.

Immaculata Drive can be used to access Parking Lot A from the east end of the parking lot, but will be closed through campus to Gillet Drive. Gillet Drive can be used to access Parking Lots D and E on the east side of campus.

For the three campus commencement ceremonies, all campus parking lots will be open for parking except for LOT G (passenger drop off point ONLY).

NO parking along roads or on grass!

Those students and/or guests who will need special accommodations at the commencement ceremony, should see Cliff Hall in the back of the theater after rehearsal.

In case of an emergency at any Commencement ceremony, Student Health Services Nurses and East Whiteland Fire Company EMTs will be in the Alumnae Hall Lobby.

If a fire alarm or other emergency requires evacuation:

• Exit through the nearest available side door of the Theater.

• Then leave the building through the nearest safe exit.

Special Assistance & Emergencies

Alumnae Hall Theater

Guests, including children of any age, must have tickets to sit in the theater.

No exceptions.

No balloons allowed in Alumnae Hall theater.

Immaculata provides viewing stations for each ceremony in Loyola Hall.

• Room 127; first floor classrooms

• No tickets required.

• IU personnel on hand for questions.

• Located near post-ceremony receptions.

If someone is unable to attend the ceremony on campus, they will be able to view a livestream of the events.

The livestream will be available from the immaculata.edu homepage, under the Featured News heading.

Diploma Pick Up

After each ceremony, students process back to large gym to pick up diplomas at designated tables.

Diplomas will be available for students who:

A. have completed all academic and financial obligations necessary to be degree eligible, AND

B. did not receive their diploma previously – (e.g. August and December graduates)

Note: Students who have ALREADY RECEIVED diplomas should drop off empty covers (boxes will be labelled).

Post-Ceremony ReceptionALL CEREMONIES:Reception will be held in the quadrangle outside of Alumnae, Good Counsel, and Loyola Halls (weather permitting).

If it rains, receptions will be in the large gym (Alumnae Hall).

Flowers are available for advance order and may be picked up during graduation at the Flower Tent right outside Alumnae Hall.

Remember to visit the campus store to pick up academic attire and some IU gear, too!

Rehearsal Activities

ALL holds must be cleared prior to the release of tickets this evening.

Representatives from the Business Office and Financial Aid are in the Large Gym to assist you in clearing your hold(s).

When hold(s) is (are) removed, provide proper documentation at the “Information” table so that you may receive your tickets.

Holds must be cleared by noon on Thursday, May 16th to ensure that you may pick up tickets.

Account Holds

Tickets are distributed tonight (assuming all other obligations are met).

After this evening, students may pick up tickets from 115 VM (Academic Affairs) the remainder of this week: during business hours (8 AM to 4:30 PM) on Wednesday and Thursday and from 8 AM to Noon on Friday.

AFTER NOON on Friday, May 17, students may pick up tickets in the Alumnae Hall large gym before their ceremony. Tickets will be available starting at check in time.

ONLY Graduating Students may pick up tickets.
