The project, designed by the architect Enrico Pollini, is based
upon the 2015 Universal Exposition theme Feeding the planet, Energy
for life, using three components linked to the Monaco

They show how inter-connectivity and international exchanges are
important in todays strategies. They serve as a reference to the
very active shipping sector in the Principality.

The roof represents the commitment of the Principality in
sustainable development and urban agriculture as a future

Le pavillon, entirement raffect (btiment & quipements), est
au cur dun projet de dveloppement durable ambitieux et entirement
autonome au profit de la Croix-Rouge burkinab et de lensemble des
pays du Sahel.
The pavilion, completely transformed (building and equipment),
is at the heart of an ambitious sustainable development project,
entirely autonomous for the benefit of the Burkinabe Red Cross and
the countries of the Sahel region.
Le centre dispensera des formations aux premiers secours et des
formations professionnelles. Il pourra aussi accueillir
manifestations, vnements et congrs. The center will provide
training in first aid and vocational training. It will also
accommodate gatherings, events and conferences.
Le complexe de 6,5 hectares se compose du pavillon transform,
dhbergements, de salles de confrences, dun espace de restauration,
de terrains de sport, dune structure de secours nautique, dune zone
marachre et dun champ photovoltaque.
The complex of 6,5 hectares consists of the transformed
pavilion, accomodations, meeting rooms, dining area, sports fields,
a nautical rescue training area, a vegetable farming zone and a
solar panels field. 85% des fonctions du Pavillon sont conserves.
Le
btiment rpond aux normes HQE (Haute Qualit Environnementale).
85% of the pavilion functions are retained. The building meets the
norms for the High Quality Environmental Standards (HQE).
