Tensile structure Cuball is an advanced technology, Mexican company, developing projects meeting the
basic needs dedicated, protection and solar energy preservation.
Our technology combines architectural and industrial design to engineering to support multipurpose
tensioned textiles, steel cables and steel structures.
Our design and construction Architects and Engineers team, highly skilled labor, solutions for commercial, industrial, urban
and residential needs, for domestic and international cover, make possible.
We work with project´s developers, builders, urban designers, planners, architects, engineers, landscape architects, interior
designers, owners themselves, existing buildings to achieve resolution, architecture site, urban landscape environment
design.
Our work begin conceptual proposals with, at any development stage, better, participate at an early stage so
that , design can be best, incorporated to master plan or complete project as an integral part.

overall construction, from foundation to manufacture metal structure and membrane.

Have received many names " tensile structures", fabric tension structure, tensile shades, tensioned membrane
structure, tensile membrane structure, tension span structure, etc.
Construction´s elements Tensile structure, only tension and no compression or bending. Most tension
structures are supported by some kind of compression or bending components, such as masts and
compression rings, or joists.

Tensile structure membrane basically is : Steel cables, connectors and accessories, steel structure and foundation,
component we put all together, from the dressmaking textile membrane, to the foundation construction, the
complete job.
Cables, fittings, gaskets and details
Cable, can be carbon steel, high strength steel (carbon steel manufacturing), stainless steel, polyester or aramid
fibers (Kevlar and Twaron). The structural cables, made of a number of smaller strands woven or linked together to
form a much larger cable. Steel cables made up of smaller spiral cables, attached to the structure, in different
ways, cast or pin terminals, "glued" polymer, or staples knot, structural design specifications according to.
Tensile structures accessories and / or connectors are special manufacturing or standard by design connection or
joint type. Cast iron fittings made galvanized steel and stainless steel, Crosby and Ronstan manufacturing.

Membrane.
Membranes varieties there are many, shadow is the common, polypropylene and a waterproof polyester fabric
with thread Dtex base 110 and PVC coated high impact and high resistance to penetration, flame retardant,
both. Other membranes made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE a synthetic fluoropolymer which finds
numerous applications. PTFE tetrafluoroethylene is best known for the DuPont brand name Teflon.) Coated
glass fiber and high impact PVC with polyester lining, these materials are woven with different patterns in
different directions. The warp fibers (fibers that are equivalent to the originally straight game fibers on a loom)
can lead to greater capacity, according to textile design of the texture.
Membrane, refers to fabric of polyester fiber or PVDF, PVF, PTFE, etc. different coatings or surface finishes,
along with the quality of the composition of high-impact PVC in a stable, and can stand the tensile load required
design. Surface membrane finishes, with guarantees up to 10 years.

SUNBRELLA Fabric Specifications:
General Classification: Solution-dyed acrylic.
Description: Woven fabric, made of 100% acrylic fibers. These are
solution-dyed fibers with a fluorocarbon finish.
Typical Weight: Approximately 9.25 oz. per square yard.
Width: 46 inches. Selected solid colors are also available in 60-inch
widths.
Colors: Very resistant to ultraviolet rays and color degradation.
Most colors tested up to 1500 hours in fadeometer with minimal or
no color change. Over 100 solids and stripes available.
Underside: Same as top surface - both sides alike.
Surface: Plain weave. Excellent breathabilty.
Transparency Level: Translucent, depending on color.
Abrasion Resistance: Good
Dimensional Stability: Good. Some shrinkage in hot weather, some
stretch in cold or damp weather.
Mildew Resistance: Excellent. Fabric will not support growth of
mildew. Mildew growing on foreign matter attached to fabric is
easily removed.
Durability/Average Life Span: 5-10 years. (Depending on climate
and proper care of fabric.)
Flame Resistance (FR): Not flame-retardant.
Chemical Resistance: Fabric highly resistant to acids, alkalies
and solvents.
Water Repellence: Excellent.
Oil Resistance: Good.
Sewability: Excellent.
Heat Sealing: Can be heat sealed using equipment in accordance
with manufacturer's specification

Steel structure resultant´s structural design, including reinforced concrete foundation, structure finish anti-corrosive
alkidalic enamels (two layers), protection against oxidation, detail pasta automotive for any imperfections and lacquer
automotive finish (two layers). Conventional structures specification: Steel sections A36 K/c2 1,530 resistance. Tubular
structures design specifications: Resistance of 2,320 K/c2, steel AH50. Structural design AISC specification (American
Institute of Steel Construction and Welding) AWS (American Welding Society) Steel Codes USA.

the end of their life cycle.
Kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus), probably native to southern Asia, a type of annual hibiscus herb that absorbs more
carbon dioxide than regular plants and trees and therefore grows more rapidly. Kenaf growth reduces global warming
by reducing the atmosphere´s carbon dioxide.
The LEED credits create opportunities for architects to use fabric elements in their work which can be rewarded as
points towards LEED certification.
