NUCLEOTemporary spaces for tourism
The competition required the design of new spaces for hospitality, services and information in the tourist areas, using old containers.
The project wants to create a network of structures in the Ecomuseum of Orobie; all the containers are like cells part of a more complex system able to give unity to the site. Each container has an external structure that depending on its position it is made of different materials: wood, iron, water, concrete, shrubs, light.
The interior of the container is characterized by the presence of modular furnishings that allow to use the space for different types of activities: info point, café, restaurant, refuge, delicatessen, conferences, lessons, equipment rental, expositions.
Nucleo is therefore a convertible structure that adapts itself to different environments and can be used for different activities .

COPENBIKEBike Spread System
The aim of the competition held by the Municipality of Copenhagen was to rethink the system of the city’s Bike Sharing in terms of structural, functional and logistical support.
The intent of this project is to create a system that can involve as many people, places and services as possible. Considering the fact that Copenhagen is a city for cyclists and the number of these bikes is higher than that of population (516,000 people and 560,000 bikes) the design solution is proposed to create a spread system throughout the city.
For this competition has been designed an integrating system for different types of bikes, (new and used, private and charter) in order to guarantee a service that best suits every user’s need.
The spread system run trough the city without interruption with a low visual impact thanks to an hidden bicycle rack placed almost on all the cycle Copenhagen area that lift up once the user set his bicycle in.

WORK IN PROGRESSConvertible spaces for creative work
The field of my project and my research is to find solutions of recovery for the residual buildings at the suburbs of the cities.
I thought to work on this type of space to provide a solution to limit the environment degrade and especially to valorise those abandoned places and open them to new uses.
I found an answer to this need in the contemporary design thought philosophy: temporariness and flexibility.
I imagine my project as a working-living space for architects, designer, artists, etc. suitable for every kind of recovery architecture and I decided to apply it, as a study case, to an abandoned building located in front of Politecnico of Milano.

GENERAL PLAN AND ELEVATIONPlug-in is a rest areas system that incorporates the possibility of subsequent expansions and reconfigurations on the highways.
This transformation is available by a modular grid whose orientation follows the sun.
At the grid intersections there are different vertical elements like pillars, trees and lights that create an artificial landscape easily recognizable on the highway system.

New kind of Contemporary Music spaces is the aim of the project.
Regarding the particular type of music, I worked on different distribution spaces to guarantee special listening modes for the partecipants and the orchestra as well.
