Objectifs de la présentation
• Illustrer les principales préoccupations vécues par les porteurs d'un défibrillateur cardiaque implantable (DCI)
• Reconnaître les signes possibles de difficultés d’adaptation envers le DCI chez cette clientèle
• Revoir les grandes lignes d’un enseignement optimal
• Privilégier des interventions à utiliser auprès de cette clientèle en se basant sur certaines recommandations cliniques

• Le DCI est utilisé en prévention primaire et secondaire dans la prévention de mort cardiaque subite
• Le DCI est supérieur aux anti-arythmiques pour sauver des vies
