    BIRTH INFORMATION

    Anne Frank was theyoungest daughter ofOtto Frank and Edith

    Hollaender. Anne was born on the12 th of June in 1929 inFrankfurt, Germany.Her older sister Margotwas born in 1926.

    CHILDHOOD LIFE

    After the Nazi takeoverin Germany in Januaryof 1933, the Frankspacked up and movedto Amsterdam,Holland.Otto became thedirector of a foodcompany with awarehouse and office.

    Anne then attendedthe Montessori school.

    In the month of Mayyear 1940, Anne wasforced to go to a

    In early July 1942,Margot received anorder to leave fordeportation.

    Otto Frank prepared ahideout in the hiddenback portion of hiswarehouse.

    They were joined bythe Mr. Van Daan, withhis wife, his 16-year-oldson, and a Jewish man

    named Dussel.

    DEPORTATION PROBLEMS

    Anne was able toremain with Margot,but the rest of the

    family got split up. Annes mother wasimmediately killed.

    Anne and Margot diedof typhus.Otto was the only oneto survive out of the

    group.
