(BO, sc) in each Vst to next corner chsp.* 4 times, Join, Fasten off Total per side = 31 BO WORKING ON RIGHT SIDE Round 49 Start in-between the 2 corner BO. *(V st, Ch2, V st) V st in-between each BO to next corner* 4 times, Join, Fasten off Total per side = 32 Vsts Round 50 Start in any ch2 corner sp. *4 dc in corner, 3dc in each Vst to next corner* 4 times, Join. Round 51 Ch1, sc in same st, sc in each st all around the entire blanket. Join, Fasten off. Total per side = 100 sc Joining panels to center square Using the diagram below join your panels to your center square using the same joining method as we used when joining panel squares. Place panels and center square wrong side facing each, so you are working on the right side. Join stitch to stitch using the outer loops only. 125 slip sts on each side (100 center square + 25 on adjoining panel) Tip: place a stitch marker every 25 stitches on center panel, these should align with your 25 stitches per square.

Note DO NOT fasten ends away until instructed at the end of this part. Important: After you have joined your panels, place stitch markers in the back loops of the 2nd and 3rd st of each corner 4hdc on the new outer edge. Round 52 This round you will be working in the front loops only. Change to a 4.5mm if your slip stitches are tight and pulling your work. Start in the 3rd front loop of any 4hdc corner. *fl-sl-st in each st around the entire blanket* Join, Fasten off You should have 25 sl-sts to each square for a total of 150 sl-sts on each side. Round 53 This round you will be working in the free back loops created in {RD52} only, behind the sl-sts just made. Pick up the 3rd loop for stability. Switch back to 4mm hook Start in the 2nd back loop of any 4hdc corner (1st stitch marker). *bl-sc (1st stitch marker), ch3, bl-sc in next (2nd stitch marker) corner made, bl-sc in each st to next stitch marker * 4 times. Join Total per side = 150 bl-sc, 2 ch3 corners Round 54 Sl-st in to corner space. Ch2 (counts as 1st dc of 3dc-cl) *(3dc-cl, ch2, 3dc-cl) in corner, (ch2, dc3tog) x 50, ch2* 4 time. Join. Fasten off Total per side = 50 dc3tog, 51 ch2sps, 2 3dc-cl Round 55 Start in any corner ch2sp. *(V st, ch3, V st) in corner, V st in each ch2sp to next corner* 4 times, Join. Fasten off. Total per side = 53 Vst

WORKING ON WRONG SIDE Round 56 Start in any ch3 corner. *(BO, sc, ch2, sc, BO, sc) in corner, mark corner ch2sp, (BO, sc,) in the middle of each Vst to next corner* Repeat 4 times, Join. Fasten off Total per side = 55 Bobbles WORKING ON RIGHT SIDE Round 57 Start in any ch2 corner. *(Vst, ch2, Vst), Vst in between each bobble to next corner* 4 times, join. Fasten off. Total per side = 56 Vsts

Round 58 Start in any ch2 corner. *4dc in corner sp, 3dc in the middle of each Vst to next corner sp* 4 times, Join. Total per side = 172 dc Round 59 Ch1, sc in same st, sc in each st around the entire blanket, Join, Fasten off. Total per side = 172 sc

Important: Place stitch markers in the back loops of the 2nd and 3rd st of each corner 4sc. Now we can fasten our ends away; I find the best way to fasten off is to loop the end around the edging, pulling to the back of the blanket and securely weaving back and forth. Shown in RED.
