OBJECTIVE: A space full of special environments evoking delights of unexpected discoveries which uplift ones spirit after a long journey. Thus designed a Five Star Hotel as a nice resting place which can refresh the visitors by creating shifts in his awareness and giving them an awe inspiring surprise. For this project I selected a site which is a part of a 400 Acre Golf Course accompanied by residential area to enhance the design of the Hotel Building with beauty & serenity of Mother Nature.

DESIGN CONCEPT:The design concept revolves around translation of a natural pattern into the built environment so it includes metaphorical as well as structural similitude with the plant’s growing form.

In most plant species new growth propagates from central regions called shoot apical meristems. The study of these patterns is known as phyllotaxis.

The Evolution of the form of the Hotel is extracted from the geometrical patterns found in nature so that it blends benignly in the beautiful lush green landscape.I have based the structural design of different elements in my 3d such as mullions, form of skylight and form of columns etc. on the spiral phyllotaxis pattern to give a structural similitude.

LANDSCAPING VIEWS

As the Concept of the design revolves around nature so I have tried to incorporate a lot of landscaping areas in the design of Hotel. For example as the visitor enters the main lobby he can enjoy a view of a sunken garden.

Roof Gardens are also provided to enhance the experience of outdoor seating arrangements and activities.

INTERIOR DESIGN:

Contemporary interior spaces are being designed so that the Hotel can cater the international standards. Grand Entrance Lobby with a spectacular garden view is designed specially for an extra ordinary welcoming effect for the visitors.

Moreover the design of the restaurants are based on the themes of elements of life that is earth, water, fire and air.Different thematic suites are also provided with different room numbers and interior designs for the visitors.

Emphasis of design was to create dramatic experiences giving an ambiance of a High-tech building. Form of the buildings includes a sequence of rhythmical spaces which are placed according to their preferences in the plan. User friendly environment has been provided with special semi covered indoor courtyards.Exteriors and the False elements for example the design of windows and their louvers are being inspired from the basic equipment's used for creating a Media Programs i.e. Lights, Camera and Technology.

Main Boulevard being one of the most important and developing road of Lahore incorporates many high-tech n modern Plazas each having its own importance. The Client wants a new look for Landmark Plaza with some attractive additional recreational as well as other facilities to increase their business. Hence a design was provided based on modern lines was provided with an addition of an Entertainment Center. The Site being a corner plot is also enhanced by this additional Entertainment Center and its form.

LOCATION: Government Official Residential Society, LahoreTYPOLOGY: LibraryCLIENT: Readings Bookstore ROLE: Design of the library around the tree and preparing preparing its working drawings with required details.

This Library is designed to cater books on Punjabi Language. The Clients wanted to retain a huge tree in the site create a form which enhances the experience of reading books in Outdoor spaces. Hence semi covered Verandahs are provided for the visitors to enjoy reading in the lapse of mother nature.As the Site follows Colonial Architectural Character so giving respect to the vicinity a blended design is provided which depicts some Colonial n some post modern architectural Style.

LOCATION: PUNJAB…….Lahore, Islamabad ,BahawalpurTYPOLOGY: CollegesCLIENT: Punjab GovernmentROLE: Designing the Plans, Elevations and Working Drawings.

Clients required a Prototype design for degree colleges in the province Punjab. Every city having its own Architectural Character so giving respect to that designs of elevations are changed with the same plan form.The College contains Courtyard planning for well lit and well ventilated class rooms. Compact planning is done for the users to access different departments easily.

CONCEPT:Bahawalpur being rich in Mud/Adobe Architecture so the Proto type College situated in Bahawalpur has the Elevation designed in Adobe Architecture with rounded Edges and Mud finish.

Islamabad being rich in Modern and Post Modern Architecture and having buildings which are mostly finished in Stone. Hence the Prototype Collages situated in Islamabad are provided with an Elevation which follows the Architectural character of the area.

Lahore having strong impact of Colonial Architecture and being rich in the production of Bricks has been provided with that design of Elevation of Prototype College which has given a brick finish and Jharokas and Jalis of Concrete with bands of Sandstone.

Plan of the College has been designed in such a way that its well lit and well ventilated. Providing a Central Atrium serves for a central place for Academic as well other Extra curricular activities.

Punjab being one of the largest province of Pakistan has an Assembly Hall of great significance. This Building was built in 1935 in Colonial Architectural Style, with the passage of time the necessity of its extension arose. The Clients wanted the new Building to be the same replica in Exteriors only. Giving Interior Details a glimpse of Modern Era with giving due respect the details of previous building built in Colonial style.This Extension also includes a Mosque which is provided for the Users of the assembly. The Mosque has been decorated with bright and pleasing interior details to refresh the eyes of the user as he refreshes his Iman through Religious Obligations.

OBJECTIVE:Requirement of the Client was to have a well lit and well ventilated interlinked spaces with some landscaping views. The Residence is a blend of Modern and Contemporary Architecture but also keeping the character of vicinity in mind. Outdoor Landscaped Gardens and Terrace at the front were specially designed to enjoy a nature friendly retreat.
