Lasco is a family enterprise where everything revolves around drying. We have been designing, constructing and selling premium-quality machines since 1987.

In the field of drying technology we are talking about our controlled hay aerating plants, hay cranes and hay loaders. In forest technology that includes our log trailers (tumbrils), timber cranes, log grips and our patented log splitter. Lasco machines are now exported all over the world and we employ over 50 employees. Our headquarters is located in Lochen, near Salz-burg, Austria.

Together with our associate companies, research centers and cooperation partners we are able to introduce customer wishes directly into the product line. This allows us to produce techni-cally sophisticated equipment that convinces through its reliability, functionality and excellent price/performance ratio.

The patented LASCO cone wood splitter is available from single motor to twelve-motored versions in 22 different

types to fit on almost every hydraulically-equipped carrier vehicle (e.g. excavators, mini excavators, Hoftrac, tractors, timber crane, hay loader, ...). Due to its exceptionally sturdy and compact construction it is a highly obliging, reliable and indispensable helper working with timber.

The patented Lasco wood splitter is especially practical for forest cooperatives with its quick-change systems and the screwed contact plate.

Due to the large cone diameter knotty and twisted wood can be split effortlessly!

The log splitter can thus be quickly and easily mounted on different

carrier vehicles.

The cone splitter fundamentally consists of a rugged housing with a contact plate for mounting on the carrier vehicle, an integrated control unit, a model-based hydraulic motor, a transmission and a shaft with attached threaded cone. The cone bores into the tree trunk and splits it apart. The hydraulic splitter isn’t limited in terms of tree length and diameter; both short and long timber can be split.

LASCO AUGER

The auger is an accessory to our patented log splitter.

The completely graduated bore diameter starts at 152 mm diameter and ends with a diameter of 610 mm. If you encounter extremely hard ground, the auger can be equipped on request with shovel teeth and twin screws, with which you can drill, with extensions, up to a depth of 2460 mm.

LASCO STUMP GRINDER

The stump grinder is ideal for removing large amounts of tree residues in the forest. The stump grinder itself is mounted on the well-known LASCO universal drive and

powered by hydraulics. Depending on the carrier and its hydraulic power, the number and size of hydraulic motors, gearboxes, housing size, bearing and milling diameter are determined so that an effective and profitable forestry work is possible. The simple and robust construction of the stump grinder allows removal of virtually every tree stump. Using the quick-change system this work can be carried out quickly and at short notice. To keep maintenance costs to a minimum, the reversible cutting heads inlaid into the milling head are made of extremely wear resistant and hardened material, which can be both reground and also turned over. The cutting heads are fully integrated in the milling head and can be changed easily and quickly when needed. The milling head is available in different diameters up to 640 mm.

Due to the modular design, over-dimensioning of all highly stressed parts (e.g. cylinder, double guide rods, bearings) and use of Hardox, our log grips are extremely robust.

Grease nipple protection and powder coating isn’t missing either! All log grips have a universal hole pattern for rota-tor connection. An adapter is available for bolted rotators!

We see not only the machine itself, but also the rotator used, as the core element of the equipment.

This must be able to withstand our highest-standard requirements in both its reliability and quality of workmanship. As a defect in the rotator means much of the work will be delayed or even stopped, we rely on well-known, leading and reputable manufacturers from northern Europe. The following rotators have passed our screening process and are ideal in combination with our carrier machines.

RS-ST0

Our RS-ST0 series bulldozer blades are our standard blades, from which all of the fol-lowing series are built. The bulldozer blades are standard-fitted with the LA940 log grips. Thanks to their robust design and use of high quality steels they are capable of the hardest forest deployment work.

RS-ST2

Our RS-ST2 series bulldozer blades differ in their side pivoting. Thus, the bulldozer blades in this series are fitted with strongly dimensi-oned slewing cylinders. Alternatively 4.5 ton or 5.5 ton rotators can be attached. The weight here is still less than 300 kg., making them perfect for small tractors.

Our RS-ST-EK series bulldozer blades are intended for mounting on front end loaders and thus have as standard a front loader attachment and 3-point hitch. These bulldozer blades can thus also load on higher levels (e.g. loading of trailers, pile transfer).

Loading grips with mounting frame

The loading grips are intended for mounting on a front loa-der. This simple but very sturdy construction allows a rapid moving of tree trunks and branches to higher-lying levels such as trailers and timber piles. This lifting system can be combined with any log grip and rotator type and can thus be adapted to your needs and uses.

The patented Lasco special bulldozer blades are suitable for tractors of any size! The working width of 1500 mm and height of 450 mm guarantee best performance.The arm length is 1500 to 2050 mm and with a swivel range of 90° it is unique and unbeatable.

The innovations on our bulldozer blade:• Telescopic without cylinders, but with automatic locating• Lifting capabilities using the three point and tractor hydraulics (leverage)• Fast attachment system on attachment mouth and lower linkage

With its three-point linkage it fits on any tractor and is therefore standardized. The 6-chain device is, of course, standard. Weight 280 kg depending on version.

RS-SP12

The RS-SP12 blade series have a telescopic arm, so that by lifting the drawbar the telescopic arm can lift to heights of 3000 mm. Thus trailers can be simply loaded without costly auxiliary control devices. On request the telescopic function can be hydraulically powered.

RS-SP32

Our RS-SP32 series blades are an extension of our RS-SP12 with an additional swivel function. The massively dimensioned cylinders enable the swiveling of heavy logs making it ideal for steep hillside and loading applications.Standard on the RS-SP series is a 5.5 ton. endless rotator.

RS-SP44

Our RS-SP44 series blades are an extension to our RS-SP12 and have a hydraulic instead of a mechanical sliding of the telescopic arm. Thus, the blade doesn’t need to touch the ground when extending the telescope, thus ensuring fast and efficient work. For optimal use of the blades we’ve fitted the entire RS-SP-series with a height-adjustable DIN towing eye.
