22 Confirm pressure gauges and instruments are provided as
per approved drawings.
23 Confirm satisfactory operation of the relief valve.
24 Confirm for no leakages from mechanical seals.
25 As soon as the pump can be operated as part of a
system, run the pump for preferably 8 hours to verify
that vibration levels are within acceptable limits.
26 Monitor the following parameters and record the stable
levels:
A Pump Suction Pressure
B Pump Discharge Pressure
C Pump Speed
D Pump flow
E Pump Inboard Bearing Temperature
F Pump Outboard Bearing Temperature
G Pump Inboard Bearing Vibrat ion
H Pump Outboard bearing Vibration
I Motor Starting Current and run Up time

fixed.
6 Equipment is properly supported as per drawing, if
applicable.
7 Any damage to the equipment and its constituents.
8 All necessary locks and keys for pad-locks,
interlocks etc., are available.
9 Hot surfaces lagged or screened sufficiently
to provide protection for personnel.
10 Painting / coating as per drawing and satisfactory.
