Who Are WeFounded in 2008 in Beijing, Kate Zhou Designer Boutiques are the first boutique stores to carry US and European con-temporary designers in China. Since then we have grown to own eight retail outlets in five cities, and an online store.

We carry 20+ contemporary designers including Rebecca Minkoff, Meli Melo, MZ Wallace, Loeffler Randall, Orla Kiely, Katherine Kwei, Nagatani, etc. We are also a distrib-utor for several brands we carry.

Our customers, whose number is rapidly growing, are high-ly educated professional women who appreciate originality and personality rather than status and logos.

We pride ourselves with superior customer services, both in the stores and online, which feature 90-day return, 365-day free repair, next day delivery to most cities in China, as well as knowledgeable sales representatives.

We have strong PR capabilities which include 100,000+ followers on China’s leading social media platforms, col-laborating with bloggers and stylists, obtaining coverage from fashion magazines, and placing our products in movies and TV shows.

We participate in the Shanghai Fashion Week two times a year, on which we exhibit our brands and products in order to promote brand awareness and attract retail partners.

Kate Zhou is a native Chinese from Beijing. She graduated from the prestigious Tsinghua University and came to the US for graduate schools in 1993. Kate received her M.S. from Lehigh University and MBA from University of Texas at Austin. She had worked as a business strategy consultant for Deloitte Consulting before starting Kate Zhou Handbags in 2008.

Kate is an influential blogger in China. She started her blog about handbags in 2007 and quickly became one of the most subscribed fashion bloggers. Over the years, her articles with unique insights on fashion and witty commen-taries have won the company many customers and partners.

Kate resides in Connecticut where she commutes to New York City regularly. She is also an avid reader and runner.
