Wat is wit brons?

Het wit brons dat verwerkt wordt in de ‘PURE PLUS’-lijn is een legering van verschillende non-ferrometalen. Het wordt gegoten in zandvormen en nadien volledig met de hand afgewerkt. Het vormzand laat een wat korrelige ‘huid’ na op het gietsel, wat elk stuk een unieke toets en karakteristieke uistraling verleent. Het voordeel van wit brons is dat het om een l egering gaat die op zich al een originele kleur bezit. Het oxideert niet, waardoor het gebruik van vernis als bescherming tegen oxidatie overbodig is. Wit brons vereist geen extra onderhoud en is bijgevolg geschikt voor de meest uiteenlopende toepassingen, voor binnen -en buitengebruik, voor particuliere en grootschalige projecten.

Wat is verouderd ijzer?

Het verouderd ijzer dat in de ‘PURE PLUS’-collectie wordt verwerkt is een legering dat gegoten wordt in zandvormen, waarna het een volledig manuele afwerking krijgt. De ruwheid van de vorm die het gevolg is van deze werkwijze, maakt een voorwerp uit deze legering meteen als zodanig herkenbaar. De verouderde look ontstaat door het aanbrengen van een natuurlijke donkere bijenwas, die de legering tevens beschermt tegen roestvorming. Bij buitengebruik wordt aanbevolen de artikelen regelmatig terug opnieuw te behandelen met donkere bijenwas.

Qu’est-ce que le bronze blanc? Le bronze blanc utulisé dans le cadre de la ligne ‘PURE PLUS’ est un alliage de différents métaux non ferreux. Il est moulé dans des moules en sable pour faire ensuite l’objet d’une finition à la main. Le sable de moulage imprime une ‘peau’ quelque peu granuleuse à la pièce moulée, ce qui confère une touche unique et un rayonnement caractéristique à chaque pièce.

L’avantage du bronze blanc réside dans le fait qu’il s’agit d’un alliage qui a déjà une couleur originale en soi. Il ne s’oxyde pas, rendant superflue toute application d’un vernis en guise de protection contre l’oxydation. Le bronze blanc n’exige aucun entretien particulier et est dès lors particulièrement approprié pour les applications les plus diversifiées, tant à l’intérieur qu’ à l’extérieur, tant pour des applications particulières que pour des projects à grande échelle.

Qu’est-ce que le fer vieilli?

Le fer vieilli utulisé pour la collections ‘PURE PLUS’ est un alliage moulée dans des moules en sable, qui bénéficie ensuite d’une finition entièrement manuelle. Tout objet est immédiatemment reconnaissable en tant que tel grâce à la rugosité de la forme, qui découle directment de cette méthode de travail.

L’apparence vieillie est créée grâce à l’application d’une cire d’abeille naturelle de couleur foncée, qui protège l’alliage de toute formation de rouille. En cas d’usage à l’extérieur, il est recommandé de traiter régulièrement les articles à base de cire d’abeille de couleur foncée. m

What is white bronze?

The white bronze used in the ‘PURE PLUS’ line is an alloy of different non-ferrous metals. It is cast in sand moulds and finished entirely by hand. The sand used for the mould leaves a grained effect on the casting so that each piece has its own unique character and personality. The advantage of white bronze is that it is an alloy with its own particular colour and it does not oxidise, so that you don’t need to protect it with varnisch. White bronze does not require any extra maintenance and is ideal therefore for a wide range of applications either indoors or outdoors and for the most diverse applications - for use indoors and in both personal as well as large-scale projects.

What is aged iron?

The aged iron used in the ‘PURE PLUS’ collection is metal that is cast in sand moulds and finished completely by hand. The rough surface created by this method is immediately identifiable in all objects.

The antique look is achieved by applying natural dark beeswax that also protects the metal against rusting. When used outdoors, we recommend reapplying the same dark beeswax at regular intervals.

Was ist Weißbronze?

Die in der ‘PURE PLUS’-Reihe verarbeitete Weißbronze ist eine Legierung verschiedener Nichteisen-Metalle. Sie wird in Sandformen gegossen und danach vollständig per Hand nachgearbeitet. Der Gussand hinterlässt eine körnige “Haut” auf dem Gussstück, womit jedes eine eigene Note und charakteristische Ausstrahlung erhält.

Der Vorteil der Weißbronze ist, dass diese Legierung von sich aus schon eine originelle Farbe aufweist. Sie oxidiert nicht, weshalb sich ein Lacküberzug als Oxidationsschutz erübrigt. Weißbronze benötigt keinerlei Pflege und eignet sich daher bestens für die verschiedensten Einsatzbereiche: für drinnen wie draußen, für die kleine private Nutzung wie für große gewerbliche Projekte.

Was ist gealtertes Eisen?

Das in der PURE PLUS-Kollektion verarbeitete gealterte Eisen ist ein in Sandformen gegossenes Metall, das manuell nachgearbeitet wird. Die Rauheit der Form, welche sich dieser Arbeitsweise ergibt, macht Gegenstände sofort als solche erkennbar.

Das gealterte Aussehen beruht auf dem aufgetragenen dunklen Bienenwachs, welches das Metall gleichzeitig gegen Rostbildung schützt. Artikel, die im Freien stehen, sollten regelmäßig mit dunklem Bienenwachs nachbehandelt werden.
