Synthèse de tris-adduits e,e,e optiquement purs
Reagents and conditions: (i) ethyl malonyl chloride, THF, pyridine, 0 °C to r.t. (R,R-2: 77%, S,S-2: 70%); (ii) tBuSiCl3, imidazole, DMF, 0 °C to r.t.(all-R-3: 52%, all-S-3: 39%).

Reagents and conditions: (i) C60, I2, DBU, PhMe, -15 °C, 1h (all-R-fC-4: 9% and all-R-fA-5: 9%; all-S-fA-4: 7% and all-S-fC-5: 5%).
