Interview with Alex Muller on the challenge of the 24hr Le Mans.

How are your predictions for the race?

I think it is going to be hard for us. Our aim is to finish, and see where we rank. There are five other cars in the GP1 category, which will be led by the two official Corvettes. There are also two Luc Alphand Aventures Corvettes. I’m waiting for the qualifying session to try and get the best I can out of the car. I want to try and get the best possible result for the GP1 category, it is important for the team. After the challenge of the race, we shall see. My two team mates are fast, but they are not professional drivers, they are businessmen, so the qualifying session will be important.

As for the race… we shall see!

Since 16:32, the #66 Jetalliance Aston Martin DBR9 had stopped just after the Porsche Curves. The car was suffering from a fuel pump problem, with Lukas Lichtner-Hoyer at the wheel. After discussions with his pit crew, he finally mana-ged to bring the car back into the pits at 17:48. The car was refuelled, with Thomas Gruber taking over. It is currently 53rd overall.
