PARA AGRADECER A TODA LA COMUNIDAD A partir del fin de semana
próximo la parroquia pasa-rá a manos de la administración del padre
Roland Uribe, pastor de Nuestra Señora de Fátima. Quiero agradecer
primero que nada a Dios por la oportunidad que me dio de servirles
a todos ustedes. Quiero agradecer al Consejo Pastoral que me
acompa-ñaron durante estos 4 años que estuve con ustedes. Agradezco
también a todos los ministros que hicieron todo lo posible para que
nuestra parroquia saliera adelante. Le agradezco en general a toda
la comuni-dad que estuvieron conmigo apoyando el proceso. Es un
tiempo de dar la oportunidad para que sigan adelante, sé que con la
ayuda del Espíritu Santo van a lograr grandes cosas con la

will pass into the hands of the administration of Father Ro-land
Uribe, pastor of Our Lady of Fatima. I want to thank God first of
all for the oppor-tunity He gave me to serve all of you. I want to
thank the Pastoral Council that accompanied me during these 4 years
that I was with you. I also thank all the ministers who did
everything pos-sible to help our parish move forward. In gen-eral,
I thank the entire community who were with me supporting the
process. It is a time to give the opportunity to move for-ward, I
know that with the help of the Holy Spir-it you will achieve great
things with the commu-nity of Our Lady of Fatima. Count on my

TO UNDERSTAND SOME EXPRESSIONS OF THE POPE IN THE DOCUMENTARY
"FRANCISCO"
Gay coexistence and civil union The Vatican statement coincides
with what was recently stated in this re-gard by the Argentine
bishop, Mgr. Héctor Aguer and Mgr. Víctor Manuel Fernández,
Archbishop Emeritus and Titular Archbishop of La Plata.
Res-pectively. In a text published on his Facebook profile on
October 21, and later delet-ed, Bishop Fernández, theological
adviser to Pope Francis, said that “Bergolio always recognized
that, without calling it 'marriage', in fact there are very close
unions between people of the same sex, which does not in itself
imply sexual intercourse, but a very intense and stable alliance.
They know each other thoroughly, they share the same roof for many
years, they take care of each other, they sacrifice for each
other”. “Then it can happen that they prefer that in an extreme
case or illness they do not consult their relatives, but rather
that person who knows their in-tentions in depth. And for the same
reason they prefer that it be that per-son who inherits all their
assets, etc. This can be contemplated in the law and is called a
‘civil union’, or civil coexistence law ’, not marriage. Bergolio
always had this opinion, and even years ago there was a discussion
in the Argentine Episcopate, where Bergolio defended this, but
lost. Most said that this was going to be confused with marriage
and they preferred not to innovate, '' Msgr. Fernández wrote. For
his part, Bishop Aguer, in an article submitted to ACI Prensa under
the title “The Family: wife, husband, and children. Regarding a
papal state-ment, "he said that" being archbishop of Buenos Aires,
the then Cardinal Bergolio, in a Plenary Assembly of the Argentine
Episcopal conference, proposed to approve the legality of civil
unions of homosexual persons by the State as a possible alternative
to what I call - and call - 'equal marriage' ”. “At that time it
was argued against him that it was not a merely political or
sociological question, but that it involved a moral judgment;
consequently, the sanction of civil laws contrary to the natural
order cannot be promoted. It was also recalled that this doctrine
has been repeatedly stated in the doc-uments of the Second Vatican
Council. The plenary of the Argentine bish-ops rejected that
proposal with an adverse vote,”said Archbishop Emeritus of La
Plata.

coincide con lo señalado recientemente al res-pecto por el obispo
argentino Mons. Héctor Aguer y Mons. Víctor Manuel Fernández,
Arzobispo Emérito y Arzobispo Titular de La Plata. Respetiva-mente.
En un texto publicado en su perfil de Facebook el 21 de octubre, y
luego eli-minado, Mons. Fernández, asesor teológico del papa
francisco dijo que “Bergolio siempre reconoció que, sin llamarle
‘matrimonio’, de hecho exis-ten uniones muy estrechas entre
personas del mismo sexo, que no impli-can de por si relaciones
sexuales, pero si una alianza muy intensa y estable. Se conocen a
fondo, comparten el mismo techo durante muchos años, se cuidan, se
sacrifican el uno por el otro”. “Entonces puede ocurrir que ellos
prefieren que en un caso extremo o de enfermedad no se consulte a
sus parientes, sino a esa persona que conoce a fondo sus
intenciones. Y por lo mismo prefieren que sea esa persona quien
herede todos sus bienes, etc. Esto puede estar contemplado en la
ley y se llama ‘unión civil’, o ley de convivencia civil’, no
matrimonio. Bergolio siempre tuvo esta opinión, e incluso años
atrás hubo una discusión en el Episcopado argentino, donde Bergolio
defendía esto, pero perdió. La ma-yoría decía que eso se iba a
confundir con el matrimonio y preferían no in-novar’, escribió
Mons. Fernández. Por su parte, Mons. Aguer, en un artículo remetido
a ACI Prensa bajo el tí-tulo “La Familia: esposa, esposo, hijos. A
propósito de una declaración pa-pal”, dijo que “siendo arzobispo de
Buenos Aires, el entonces cardenal Ber-golio, en una Asamblea
Plenaria de la conferencia Episcopal Argentina, propuso aprobar la
licitud de las uniones civiles de personas homosexuales por parte
del Estado como una posible alternativa a lo que llamo-y llama-
‘matrimonio igualitario’”. “En aquella oportunidad se argumentó en
su contra que no se trataba de una cuestión meramente política o
sociológica, sino que entrañaba un jui-cio moral; en consecuencia
no se puede promover la sanción de leyes civi-les contrarias al
orden natural. Se recordó, asimismo, que esta doctrina ha sido
enunciada repetidas veces en los documentos del Concilio vaticano
II. El plenario de los obispos argentinos rechazo aquella propuesta
con voto adverso”, señalo el Arzobispo Emérito de La Plata.
