Pour garantir précision et longévité, la vis de patronne en acier nickel-chromé trempéavec filets rectifiés travaille dans un bain d’huile. Les patronnes sont interchangeables suivant les pasdésirés.Mode de fonctionnement: cycle coup par coup déclenché par bouton poussoir ou pédale, cycleautomatique. The use of a leadscrewto precisely control the pitch feed removes the element of feel required from the operator, virtuallyeliminates the possibility of stripped threads and prolongs tap life. The high quality Chromium-Nickelsteel leadscrew with ground threads runs in an oil bath to guarantee longer life and high precision. Allstandard and non-standard leadscrew pitches are available from Cincinnati CA.Operating cycles: selected by an inverter switch on the front panel and controlled by a cycle start pushbutton or foot pedal. Upon reaching the selected depth, the quill actuates a microswitch which instantlyreverses the spindle direction of rotation. Single: the machine taps one hole and stops. Continuous: themachine taps automatically leaving the operator’s hands free for loading and unloading parts.Safety: an adjustable friction clutch is located on the spindle pulley: if the permissible torque isexceeded the clutch slips and the spindle stops. DESCRIPTIONLa poupée massive, supporte l’arbre porte-meule enacier spécial entièrement rectifié.

La broche est montée sur deux jeux de 2 roulementsspéciaux précontraints et appairés à deux millièmesde faux ronds.

La barre de guidage en acier chromé dur, superfin,assure au porte-outil un glissement doux et sans jeu.Toute usure prématurée est écartée par des jointsd’étanchéité, montés dans l’alésage du porte-outil, quirejettent toutes les matières abrasives projetées par leliquide d’arrosage.La profondeur de passe sur la meule est déterminée parune vis micrométrique, permettant une avancecentième par centième au moyen d’un vernier situé àgauche de la table.

Les meules ébauche et finition, type 9A3 diamant, nesont pas fournies avec la machine.Pour l’affûtage des outils en acier renforcé,des meules identiques en Borazon peuventêtre utilisées.Le protecteur des meules est mobile etbloqué par trois vis.

Un arrosage abondant par groupeélectro-pompe est prévue.Il facilite le refroidis-sement et entraîne toutesles fines particulesabrasives dans un bac dedécantation.

AS TOOL SHARPENERHigh precision tool sharpener. The spindle mounted onspecial first grade quality ballbearings is carefullybalanced after final assembly. Chipbreaker sharpeningis possible when a third grinding wheel is mounted onan optional shaft extension.

AS FEATURESA strong spindle carrier supports the precision groundwheel shaft made of special highgrade steel.

The spindle runs on two sets of two special preloadedballbearings. During assembly the spindle bearings arematched together with less than 2 microns runout. Thebalanced electrical motor drives the spindle through awide, thin and flat plastic belt to dampen any vibration.

The guide bar : the hard chromed superfinished steelguide bar guarantees smooth and accurate movementof the toolholder. The toolholder supporting sleeve isfitted with heavy duty seals to keep dust, abrasiveparticles, coolant away from the guide bar. A largediameter vernier scale located on the left hand of thetable side facilitates fine micrometer adjustment of thegrinding depth.

Grinding wheels for roughing and finishing, modelsDiamond 9A3, are available at extra cost.For grinding HSS tools, Borazon wheels arerecommended. Wheel covers are adjustable by

means of 3 knurled screws.

An abundant coolant flow is providedto keep the temperature of the tool and

wheels down and to wash fineabrasive particles away.A large tank with threeseparate settling cellseliminates these particlesbefore they enter the filter

and increases the coolantpump life.
