Location: Florence, Italy. Santa Maria Novella Train Station,
Problem: The main train station in Florence, -built on the 1930s and the 4th more fluxed station in all Italy- is the hart of all public trans-portation in town; located right outside the historic center is highly important for locals who work in this area. Along the years, has become a big mess and the streets and public spaces around the station need to be reorganized
Local goverment plans to pedestrianize the downtown with three urban railways crossing the main flux axis, but till now, it´s been impos-sible to build lines 2 and 3 due to the difficul-ties of closing this área.
TRANSIT:The new street shall be transitated only by public transportation services, all private circulation must go around the peripheral ring.
This will help to liberate the traffic and finally allow the construction of the raiway lines 2 and 3 reaching government´s objetive of completely pedestrianize the historic center.
25 diferent bus lines stop aroun this area, but can be differienciated in 4 main directions, each of those will having its own stop A, B, C, D.
Piazza Mazzini
Competition in collaboration with Qart progetti studio, Florence Italy May-Aug 2014
The municipality of Albano Laziale city, in Italy launched in a contest for a design proposal for the Piazza Mazzini near the center of the city and in front of the entrance of the park of Villa Doria. An area where important traffic flows meet with the ancient Via Appia. Time ago it used to be a picturesque square, now is used as a car parking and has become an important point for the public transport lines.

The square solves traffic problems and provides accessibility for pedestrians
CURRENT PROJECT
The proposal is a square that covers the bus stops, access to parking and a bar with a playful wooden topography and sloping gardens. intended to em-phasize the contrast between the park and the city.
Municipal plans include an underground two-lev-el parking for up to 90 vehicles. The design applied in this competition converts the upper cover it in a place that helps relieve the traffic flow and can be used for leisure and meeting
Hotel Mina
Design of a luxury boutique hotel in the downtown of Mon-terrey, México. Using the place of an old house on Francis-co Javier Mina street, the project must also preserve some of the original structure.
The entire design, shapes and materials, are inspired by the industry of Monterrey, taking advantage of its prime loca-tion in the center of the city, where not many years ago, workers of the iron and steel foundry of Monterrey lived and raised their families.
South facade is protected from sun with a steel lattice perforated in a pattern taken from an aerial photo of the city. This allows natural ventilation to the building and a very interesting display of light and shadow all along the hallway
The current building comprises two rooms in ashlar, one of which is to be conserved (yellow in the plan) in the new pro-posal, as the exhibitions room.

The verticality of the building is a reminesent of the tall industrial chimneys, as well as the rest of its volume, to the elongated industrial buildings.

Project developed in Collaboration with: Yazmin García Morales
Jeimi Jasmin Cuendulain Esteban Lankenau Torres
Carolina Sanchez GaldamezLizza Carolina Garza de León
Competition launched by the Office of Water Services and Drainage of Monterrey, through the College of Architects of Nuevo León to design the new administrative offices inside an old underground tank 9,000m2 in the obispado suburb in Monter-rey.
Organizers ask the old access to be respected because of its historical importance. No voulme is allowded to be built above the cover of the tank. Instead, the design must consider a soccer field above the offices for the employees to play

The design uses the existing structure and its modulation. The main idea is based on a courtyard in the center of the project, keeping the old access as the axis of the new staircase to exalt it as the most important point of the project. Becoming the center of the architectural program.
The cover designed for the central courtyard is an anal-ogy of being under water, once housed in the tank. This is achieved with a steel frame and glass supporting a water feature, which must be crossed from the outside to access the offices and creates a very special lighting inside.
