Neuropsychiatric effects: case reportA 61-year-old woman experienced neuropsychiatric effects

while receiving prucalopride. The woman began receiving oralprucalopride 2 mg/day for chronic constipation. A few hourslater, she experienced loss of balance and memory,disorientation, visual hallucinations, exhaustion and suicidalideation. Prucalopride was withdrawn, and her symptomsdisappeared 24 hours later.
