During the last years, life has changed because of the progress made in all the

fields. All the countries are obliged to open to the world if they want to survive

and escape poverty and starvation.

This means that globalization was imposed on all the continents to be in

contact with the other countries. Those latters have to make populations learn

different languages to be in contact with its neighbours.

Thus, most of the continents are for learning the first language which is English

since the world is under the power of America and the Anglo-Saxon countries.

English is the official language in 51 countries. Its the dominant international

language in communication, diplomacy, business and all the deals.

Objectives of the training period:

Everything in life has an objective and the most important objective of the

training period is the better use of the English language. We learn how to

master the language, how to talk fluently and communicate easily with the

native speakers.

It is a good opportunity to rely on, to know how to be responsible, to make

new friends, to visit new places, new civilizations. Also to get rid of the family

surrounding, to learn how to behave without being criticized, to make

knowledge of what is happening far from our country and family.

Rationale of the choice (justification of the choice of the host

institution):

Morocco gives a great importance to the English language which is taught in all

Moroccan schools.

As HEM is one of the best business schools and as it is using English in studies,

they offer every year to their students the opportunity to practice the language

and improve it by sending the students to a 5 week training program, either to

England, Malta or Morocco.

In order to benefit from this, I chose Malta which I had heard a lot about

monuments, seas, beaches and beautiful views. Also the different

entertainments that are offered to the visitors. Moreover, its a new place for

me because I have never been to an island and it is a new experience to me.

In Malta, I was with students from HEM Casablanca Marrakech and Rabat,

which mean making new friends.

Thats why I didnt stay in Morocco and I didnt choose England which I had

visited before.

All this wouldnt have happened if there had not been a good

organisation from my teachers, school and the host country.

Therefore, I thank all these people and wish them a

successful life,just like my training trip.
