Establish rapport with patients and the rest of the health care team
Obtains comprehensive nursing history and performs thorough physical assessment(on patients at the Emergency Room section) to formulate accurate nursing diagnosis.a. Identifies subjective and objective problems of patientsb. Obtains significant family, social and past medical historyc. Performs comprehensive and systemic physical examinationd. Identifies significant deviations and abnormalities from the assessment
Formulates Nursing Care Plan based on the established nursing diagnosis Implements the plans as set out in the nursing care plan
a. Administer medications oral and parenteralb. Administer other prescribed treatmentc. Gives health teachings to patients based on their learning needsd. Conducts ward class on significant and other basic health topice. Provides social, emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patientsf. Maintains therapeutic environmentg.
