Comité d’organisation Organizing Committee

Every year the IA workshop offers the opportunity to edit scientific recommendations for the use of ICT. In 2014, IA & CoBTeK are editors in charge of a special issue of the review “Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience”. ICT for assessment and rehabilitation in Alzheimer’s disease and

related disorders.

MeMoVE With MeMo train your memory and motivation! Test you visual attention in a virtual 3D environment

Kitchen Scenario This demo session presents Kitchen Scenario, a Serious Game playable on iPad intended to serve as a support for patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and mild cognitive impairment.

User Data Framework / Analysing and Monitoring Participant Performance KAINOS has implemented a User Data Framework for the VERVE project that captures key information from a number of the game scenarios allowing clinicians and researchers to quickly evaluate a participant's performance and provide feedback during clinic sessions via reports, adjusting the game scenario levels as appropriate.

FoF City Quest City Quest is a Serious Game designed as an intervention tool for fall-prone older adults, with aim to improve three main aspects: balance, the ability to detect and react to hazards and obstacles in the periphery and spatial cognition. This demo allows you to try the game and navigate the virtual environment of City Quest. Reach the shops as fast as possible, but mind the obstacles!

City Quest - Oculus VR City Quest OVR takes advantage of the latest version of Oculus VR (DK2) to provide the most immersive experience in terms of Serious Games. Ready to explore the world of City Quest as main protagonist?

FoG Virtual Maze The VERVE 'Virtual Maze' is an application currently evaluated at the Mater Hospital in Dublin. The intention of the game is to help Parkinson’s patients who suffer from freezes of their gait. The German research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and the Institute of Neuroscience at Trinity College in Dublin developed a game where patients have to pass through a virtual maze. The 3D maze contains multiple items that trigger freezes in real life, including narrow corridors, doorways and questions that appear and distract the player from the navigation task. The idea is that the patient can train these situations in a safe virtual world to improve their situation in real life. On the technical side, the game runs in a simple web browser which allows for easy deployment of the training game at patients' homes in the future.

« Memory is the search of lost time, of an unexpected experience, non-reproducible and touching. It’s the search

of an emotion.

In this series I give up information to make room to a photography of emotions, I want to see further and after the

photographs. »

Vincent Robert

During the workshop, Vincent Robert’s series « Blues » will be presented.
