• Alarmes– Comparaison liste ENS/Liste PSEN
• Recherche par Device/Data Point/Heure• Limitée aux 4mn d’archivage PSEN
• Valeurs analogiques– Outils TREND de PSEN
• Vidéos• http://en-dep.web.cern.ch/en-dep/Groups/EL/elop_psen.htm#TestsSecours2014
3 Juin 2014 Utilisation de PSEN par OP pendant les Tests Secours 2014 13
Remarques
30mn d’intervention
• Rapport OP PSEN Tests Secours – EDMS 1378106

Remarques: Trends

PSEN STATUS
Engineering & Deployment
3 Juin 2014 21
AGENDA• PSEN Configuration Status
o Synoptic panels o ENSDM – PSEN/RTU Engineering tool
• Connection to external systemso Alarms to LASERo Measurements to LHC Logging
• Short-term Planning
• Remaining PSEN applications
PSEN Engineering & Deployment
3 Juin 2014 PSEN Engineering & Deployment 22
Synoptic Panel Status• >100 panels deployed (HV/MV SLD’s and summary
panels)
• Still many to be done/corrected
• Requested extra-support (C194) to accelerate main panels completion before end of 2014
• Several symbols/widgets missing
3 Juin 2014 23
ENSDM Status• PSEN Database updates are now weekly in conjunction with
SCATEX updates
• Integration with LASER configuration DB and LHC Logging in progress
• RTU Engineering for all protocols to be finalised by mid June (new RTU for BA5 engineered with ENSDM)
• Interface for configuration changes from PSEN in ENSDM in progress (to be tested in June)
• Engineering changes affecting panels generate a JIRA ticket to ensure synoptic consistency
PSEN Engineering & Deployment
3 Juin 2014 PSEN Engineering & Deployment 24
EL alarms to LASER• CCC-TI requested to have EL alarms visible in Web-LASER
to have alarms from all systems accessible on one page via mobile phone (for their on site displacements).
• Finalized with LASER team the mapping between EL alarms and LASER categories and triplets and with ICE the workflow.
• The client approval for new alarm descriptions will be done using ENSDM (instead of MODESTI procedure).
• Initial tests scheduled this week
3 Juin 2014 PSEN Engineering & Deployment 25
EL measurements to LHC Logging• A subset of measurements will be archived in Logging DB:
– HV/MV Current, Voltage, Power, Mean-Power– Main 66kV measurements – Transformers Temperature– Main UPS measurements – Energy counters (for Web Energy)
• The mapping between EL variable names and Logging naming convention is being finalized with BE/CO and the workflow with EN/ICE.
• Tests foreseen for June

Focus on improvements
• Data Engineering process for PSEN DB updates needs to be optimizedo The overall process is time consuming (~ 1 to 1 ½ days required
depending on problems encountered). The last PSEN DB updated completed the evening before the Tests Secours
o Major part of the process is independent of the number of changes. o No clear indication if the submitted changes are applied or not.o Need of EN/ICE intervention to un-block issueso Masked alarms lost, operation is not transparent to the operators
• WTS cerntsel clusters need to handle a higher number of users (ongoing)
3 Juin 2014 PSEN Engineering & Deployment 28
Short-term Planning
• Continue with panels implementation• Continue ENSDM development for RTU
Engineering • Data publication to TIM via DIP• Alarms to Web-LASER • Measurements to LHC Logging• Connection of WebEnergy to PSEN Oracle• Migration of SAH (SCATEX archive) to IT DB
3 Juin 2014 PSEN Engineering & Deployment 29
Remaining main PSEN applications
• Alarms (multi criteria and negative filtering,..)• Reporting application• Double archiving• Archive settings modifications for OP• SNMP• PSEN Web application• Event Replay• Power Factory integration• Disaster Recovery
