Good relationship with French

• Follow-up committee with French authority

representatives, Unions and AMAL CEO done on

regular basis managed by F. Marzorati ( who got

mandate from the French Prime Minister)

• Last Florange meeting was done in April 2015 with

plant visit focused on investments

• Special meetings have been done in Dunkirk (in

March 2015) and Basse Indre (in July 2015)

• Next Florange meeting is scheduled in November

the 20th.

• According to market demand two BFs were idled

The 3rd coking battery of Dunquerke

• Dunkirk is the terminal port for ArcelorMittal Atlantique-Lorraine raw material and

processes the same coal mix for its three coking batteries.

• The cluster, including Florange, is self sufficient in coke, and the quality of its homogenous

coke is a key factor for its blast furnace performance.

• Florange hot strip mill is as competitive as before, thanks to the coking gas availability.

• Special wagons fleet, for coke and for slabs, have been invested in to reduce transport

costs.

• Of 629 employees affected by the mothballing of the liquid phase, all found a solution

• 256 employees have exercised their right to retirement

• 40 employees have chosen a solution out of Florange plant

• 333 employees have joined a new position in Florange plant

• Ambitious training program with 65,800 hours between 2013 and 2014 : around

200h/employee

• Recruitment of 44 people since 2014, and 21 still to do by the end of 2015.
