INFORMATION CENTER
STUDENT BUILDING MANAGER TYPICAL DUTIES -Act as a liaison for the University Center
between facilities, housekeeping, food services, and other areas of the university
-Open and close upper level facilities -Perform set-ups in meeting rooms with
requested chairs, tables, AV equipment -Hourly building tours -Sale of Campus Activities event tickets
and sign-up sheets -Answer questions -Update ID cards with current sticker
CUSTOMERS OF THE INFORMATION CENTER All current students, faculty, and staff Members of the Pool and Fitness Center Renters/Reservers of Meeting Rooms Attendees of events taking place on campus Prospective students and their families
STUDENT SUPERVISOR: STEPHANIE SEIDEL Assists Director with building operations Assumes responsibility for supervision of the UC Student Building Managers
(SBMs), as well as the evening and weekend operation of the University Center
Supervision and scheduling of SBMs Coordination of training programs, event support, and
general building reservations
INFORMATION COORDINATOR: NIKI HARRIS Manages UC communications and social media Designs handouts and print materials Updates display cases Represents SBM Staff at UC Operations Meetings Assists with SBM training
RESERVATIONS COORDINATOR: SYED AHMED
Assists with management of reservations and rentals Approves room requests, reviews set-up needs, communicates
with patrons and staff, and markets the availability of rentals Assists with training SBMs on the reservations process
HOURS OF OPERATION Monday-Thursday 7:30am-11pm Friday 7:30am-8pm Saturday 10am-6pm Sunday CLOSED
Crossroads Dining Services hours: Monday-Thursday 10:30am-11pm Friday 10:30am-6pm Saturday-Sunday CLOSED
