OCLC Connexion Client v. 1.00 – October 7, 2003 - interactive online functionality, macros and labels

v. 1.10 – March 30, 2004 - macro recorder, News, customizable inactivity timer, etc.

v. 1.20 – November 9, 2004 - NACO functionality, offline cataloging, local save files and constant data, batch processing

v. 1.30 – March 24, 2005 – new browse indexes, “true” keyword searching, CJK and Arabic cataloging, etc.

v. 1.40 – July 11, 2005 - offline validation, spell check, local accessions list, etc.

OCLC Connexion Client v. 1.50 – Nov. 28, 2005 – Unicode export, WorldCat searching customization, simplified process for adding/deleting holdings, etc.

v. 1.60 – June 15, 2006 - “Launch Local Holdings Maintenance” link, OCLC-MARC Format Update, etc.

v. 1.70 – December 12, 2006 – Authority History database, Guided entry for 541 & 583, expanded OCLC Number/Field 035, etc.

v. 2.00 – June 26, 2007 – Vista, new toolbar options and menu layout, RLG IRs, etc.

OCLC Connexion Client

OCLC does not expect to discontinue 1.7X until a future release of the client is available. You are not required to upgrade to 2.00. However, OCLC recommends that you upgrade to 2.00 to have the most current features available.

Incorporated bibliographic "cluster" records from the RLG Union Catalog into WorldCat
