Kaunas 2008”, the catalogue of architects’ projects, lists the realised and unrealised projects developedby Kaunas’ architects making no efforts to apply very strict selection to the material submitted by authors. As thetendency that architectural creation turns to collective occupation becomes more and more apparent, the cataloguemostly presents the projects developed by architectural bureaus over the recent 3-4 years.It is expected that this catalogue will assist the general public in better identification, perception and assessmentof the processes that have been taking place in such an important field of public life as architecture over a fewrecent years full of particularly active construction works, whereas the architects themselves will see how much ofArchitecture appeared in their creation that might be conceived by us as Art.
