iOS Upgrade Preparation - Best Practices
Be prepared and test with the Betas – If you have a Developer account, betas are
available during WWDC – New this year, are the public Betas available for
anyone Validate mission critical Apps & IT services are
functional – Any internally developed apps are a must to test – Also important to test VPN’s, Mail, any custom
scripting – Raise any issues found with the vendors
Communicate with Employees – Especially if any actions need to be performed
like upgrading an app – Save your help desk from unnecessary calls
Be prepared for the Future – If you are developing apps internally, pay
attention to the guidance from WWDC – Multitasking uses Auto Layout and Size Classes
