Activities have included business case analysis, policy briefing of ministers and public scrutiny through parliamentary committees, the coordination of multiple stakeholders, direction of multi- discipline and multi-cultural teams, and difficult project environments incorporating significant risks. During the period 1996-1998 as General Manager PPMI Pty Ltd, a joint venture with the University of New England, he contributed to the development of the current AQF 5 Diploma in Project Management program and its delivery methodology. As General Manager (1999-2002) of a 5,000 member major community based organisation Brian focussed primarily on organisational and financial restructuring and customer service improvement and the instigation and application of event (project) management methodologies (including training). Hard won experiences then focussed on business change and performance improvement through management by projects in the construction, utilities & power generation and government management environment. The more recent significant work is directed towards business delivery & benefits realisation.
