They spent 3 days in Altötting in Germany.

In the meeting 3 German, 1 Austrian, 3 French and 3 Finnish teachers met.

They were planning all the dates of the meetings and choosing the topics.

During the 3 days they also did a sightseeing tour and visited Burghausen, Chiem-

see, Altötting and a castle called Herrenchiemsee.

One of the teachers said that when they met, it felt like they had known each other

for a long time.

RELATIONSHIP PERSPECTIVE

The meeting in Mureck took place from the11th to the 15th of Mai, 2013.

The students worked in 5 different groups: Video, Photo, Reporter, Creative and

Writing, where they had to work on this topic. Every group tried to portray the re-

lationship perspective from a different angle.

The final results were shown in a presentation on Friday.

Our bus left from school at 9 o´clock.

At first we went to the chocolate fac-

tory Zotter in Riegersburg. We saw a

short film about how chocolate is made.

Then we had an hour to taste all choco-

lates. Everybody loves it. Then we went

to the city of Graz. There we had time

to eat something and then we had a

sightseeing tour. After two hours in the

city we drove to the shopping center in

Seiersberg. We had time to shop for

two hours and after that we went back

to school. Most of us left for the spa in

Bad Radkersburg. There we had time to

relax and at 10 o´clock we drove back

to our host families.

This was a great day!

We went to visit the mayor of Mureck. He greeted us friendly and told us some-

thing about the city of Mureck. After that we got something to eat and drink. He

told us that he is the owner of a restaurant where we had dinner in the evening.

After that we went back to our school and worked on our project.

W o r k s h o p s

GROUP 1: VIDEO GROUP The video group made interviews and also short movies about the perfect family

and the real family. They expected that they would have a lot of fun during the pro-

ject and get to know some differences about different kinds of people. The ex-

change students think that Austria is peaceful in a good way, small and warm.

GROUP 2: PHOTO GROUP

They created some photo stories about relationships between “boys and girls”,

“friends” and “families”. They hoped to give an excellent presentation and they’ve

reached their goal. The presentation was extremely amazing and astoundingly crea-

tive.

The exchange students say that Austria is a lot warmer than Finland, but the Ger-

mans think that there isn’t a big difference between Austria and Germany.

GROUP 3: WRITING GROUP The writing group worked out two amazing poems and a LEGEN… wait for it …

DARY Song named “Hit mich Beibi, encore une fois”.

They expected a lot of fun and they enjoyed working with people from other na-

tionalities. The students from Germany especially love the beer and everyone thinks

that Austria is a nice country and that the Austrians are nice people.

GROUP 4: CREATIVE GROUP They performed an amazing act about relationships between Dreams & Reality.

They wanted to improve their language skills and to work with people from other

countries.

They love the beautiful landscapes, polite people, nice mountains and the marvelous

accent in Austria.

GROUP 5: REPORTER GROUP We took pictures and interviewed people so we could make this epic newspaper

about this project.

We had a lot of fun and enjoyed talking to the other people. The Finish people like

the colourful houses and the warm weather.

Our school has existed since 1970, we have 198 students and 31 teachers in our

school. It´s a Higher Secondary College for Occupation in the Service, Industry and

Office Management sector. Our main focus is on International Communication in

the economy.

After 5 years we enjoy the privilege of being able to take our A-level exams.

L u k i o

There are over 400 students and 30 teachers in Lappenrannan Lyseen Lukia. Upper

secondary school lasts 3 years. In the final year we have our matriculation examina-

tion. After graduation we can continue our studies in university.

L y c é e d e L a S a l l e

Lycée de La Salle is a big school in Rennes. It is situated near the middle of the City.

The school is visited by over 1000 students and it employs over 100 teachers. Lycée

de La Salle is a school which focuses on professional skills, with different branches

in which you can get your A-Levels.

In that school you can get an education in the branches reception, accounting, sec-

retarial and trade. The school also offers a college after the A-Levels.

The headmaster of the school is Mr. Geier. He is a really nice person and taking

care of the school and students.

The school has about one thousand students in the school and we got two

branches, one in Mühldorf and one in Altötting.

Students can choose between three different courses of education. These are tech-

nology, economy and social studies.

In the 12th grade you have vocational diploma and if you want you can do the 13th

grade to achieve the general qualification for university entrance.
