IMPORTANT REMINDER!
The être verbs require AGREEMENT.That means the subject and the past
participle need to match up, as if the past participle was an adjective describing the subject.
Elle est partiE.Ils sont arrivéS.Elles sont rentréES.Il est allé.
AGREEMENT W/ direct objects.
Although no agreement occurs with AVOIR verbs, it is possible to have agreement when & only when DIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS come before the verb avoir.
