PROTECTION CONTRE LES UV–A et UV-BLa diminution de l’effet protecteur de la couched’ozone rend la protection solaire de plus en plus im-portante. En effet, les yeux (et notre peau) sont trèssensibles au rayonnement riche en énergie dans ledomaine de l’ultraviolet (UV). Même par temps nua-geux, la protection UV est indispensable car lesnuages absorbent la lumière visible, mais très peu lesUV.Les yeux sont encore plus exposés quand noussommes en altitude ou dans un environnement oùles UV sont reflétés par la neige, l’eau, le sable, la ré-verbération des murs clairs, les vitres ou les miroirs(par exemple : l’eau réfléchit 5 à 10 % des UV ; le sable20 % ; la neige 85 %). Par ailleurs, en altitude, la quan-tité d’UV reçue augmente de 10 % tous les 1000 mè-tres).

C’est pourquoi toutes nos lunettes LUX OPTICALprotègent à 99.9% contre les UV.

SPÉCIFICITÉSVerres polarisés :Les filtres polarisants apportent un plus grand confort dansles zones à forte réflexion (bâtiments avec surfaces vi-trés/miroités, eau, sable clair, neige...) et une meilleure per-ception des reliefs et des contrastes.

UV400 :Pour une protection supplémentaire allant à 400 nm contrela lumière bleue qui suit l’ultraviolet (jusqu’à 380 nm) etsont certifiés protéger à 100% contre les UV.

IR :Le rayonnement infrarouge suit la lumière visible rouge,mais est invisible pour l’œil et conduit au réchauffementdes surfaces et corps irradiés.

Les verres EN1836Les verres des “lunettes de soleil”, sont conçus pour protégerle porteur contre l’action dangereuse des rayons solaires. La norme européenne EN1836 classe les verres en 5 caté-gories qui se distinguent par le pourcentage de lumièreabsorbée par le verre.

ATTENTION : tous les verres à partir de la catégorie 1 sontinadaptés à la conduite de nuit. Les verres de catégorie 4 nesont pas adaptés à la circulation routière.

La filtration du rayonnement UV a lieu à l’intérieur du verre(minéral ou organique). Elle est indépendante du degré deteinte.

ATTENTION: all lenses from category 1 and over are unsui-table for driving at night. Lenses of category 4 are not sui-table for traffic driving.

The filtration of UV rays takes place inside the lens (mine-ral or organic). It is independent from the shade colour.

Los lentes EN1836Los lentes de “gafas de sol” están concebidos para protegerel que los lleva contra la acción peligrosa de los rayos so-lares.La norma europea EN1836 clasifica los oculares en 5 cate-gorías que se distinguen por el porcentaje de luz absor-bida por el lente.

CUIDADO: ninguno de los lentes a partir de la categoría 1están adaptados para conducir por la noche. Los lentes decategoría 4 no están adaptados para conducir.

La filtración de la radiación UV se ejerce dentro del ocular(mineral u orgánico). Es independiente del grado de tinte.

Entretien de votreprotection oculaireCette protection oculaire doit être stockéeà l’abri de la lumière directe du soleil et desproduits abrasifs. Les oculaires doivent êtrenettoyés avec un chiffon doux et de l’eausavonneuse tiède, et peuvent êtredésinfectés avec un désinfectant ménagerordinaire.

Maintenance of your eyeprotectorThe eyeprotector should be stored awayfrom direct sunlight and abrasive chemicals.The lens should be cleaned with a softcloth in warm soapy water. Theeyeprotector can be disinfected with anycommon household disinfectant.

Important• Ensure that replacement lens’ marking is

the same as the frame before fitting tothe eye protector.

• The materials used in the eyeprotectormay cause an allergic reaction to the skinof susceptible wearers

• Scratched or pitted lens should bereplaced immediately.
