Course Book

Course Description This course is very important for student cereal and

pulse crops department by following points:

• Knowledge of the principles of gardening foundations

and service operations of various cereal and pulse crops.

• Develop and create the ground and shrines appropriate

for various cereal and pulse crops and roads suitable for

cultivation.

• Service operations and its morphological description.

Students learning the principle of field crop such

as Seed, Seed germination, soil preparation,

cultivation, irrigation and fertilization. .. etc

Field crop production also consist of winter crops

such as wheat and been, and summer crops such as

rice, peanut, sunflower. .. etc

Course Objectives 1-Prepare the ground and create the shrines of various

horticultural crops.

2-establishment of orchids and ways to serve.

3-production of cereal and pulse crops.

4. knowledge winter and summer crops cultivated

students in Iraq and Kurdistan

5-Learning the importance of economic and appropriate

environment for each crop.

Mission The prevention department missions its

graduation to the field in order to work directly on

plants production, laboratory and eliminate them.

Vision: The department vision is that its graduate will

department and apply in the field and laboratory

About the Department (History):

The plant production department was opened in 2009, with an annual graduation

between 25-40 students. The department consists of 12 lecturer, 6 BSc. and 12

diplomas. The first batch was graduated in 2011 and still ongoing
