-Develop, evaluate and promote new and existing HSE training Programs, Deliver the Site Safety Orientation Training for all workers.
-Review the inspection, maintenance and condition of all offshore safety equipments in particular the fire-fighting and life-saving equipments.
-Provide expert advice on process safety, leading safety and environmental issues on offshore installations.
-Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness
in any emergency,Maintains records of such drills,Providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.
-Ensures that regular meetings are held to maintain focus on HSE issues Participates in self audits and other audit protocols as required.

Description of Duties&Responsibilities:
HSE Engineer:
-Develop, evaluate and promote new and existing HSE training Programs, Deliver the Site Safety Orientation Training for all workers.
-Monitor and interpret safety, health and environment indicators, e.g., accident rates, oil/chemical spill, near miss etc., across the working area and provide advice on becoming an Incident free operation.
-Visual inspection of the crane, Ensuring that the crane operator is competent have knowledge of the load chart inside the crane cabinet,outriggers , lifting gears and lifting accessories are sound and in good condition and are used for the suitable load, and the crane is not overloaded and all safe lifting procedures are applied in site, All lifting gears and crane certificates are updated and all lifting equipments are color coded according to the company policy.
-Conduct a daily tour of the working areas(the Early production facility and the Shipping station) and log details of the observations on the Action.
-Supervises the regular inspection of firefighting, safety and emergency response equipments.
-Report immediately to the Site Manager any serious safety breaches that place workers in life-threatening situations.-Undertake a weekly Toolbox Talk with site assigned personnel and ensure that records are maintained.-Monitors compliance to the Company Health & Safety Management System by conducting regular inspections , internal auditing of companys’ site activities.-Record and maintain a database of all inspections conducted to follow up and identify corrective actions.-Conduct routine inspections related to fire therefore ensuring operational area is compliant in all matters relating to fire safety.-Advise personnel and ensure training is provided in all safety related matters to all new and existing personnel.
-Assist in Establishing job hazard analysis procedures and supervise all non-routine jobs especially when dealing with energized/pressurized equipments.
-Accident investigations, reporting and to recommend the corrective actions to avoid their recurrence.
