    Who built the Eiffel Tower? Alexandre Gustave Eiffel

    When was the Eiffel Tower built? The Eiffel Tower was

    completed in March 1889 and the official inauguration date is

    March 31st, 1889.

    Where is the Eiffel Tower Located? The Eiffel Tower islocated in Paris, France by thebanks of the Seine river. The

    exact address is 5 Parc du Champ de Mars, 75007 Paris,

    France.

    Why was the Eiffel Tower built? The Eiffel tower was built

    for the Paris World Exhibition in 1889 which also coincided

    with 100 years of the French Republic. It was a temporary

    structure and was not supposed to stand for more than 20 years.

    transmitter

    the Marais Neighborhood.

    The Sacre Coeur is one ofthe best knownParis monuments. TheSacre Coeur is also theflagship sight ofMontmartre, a lovely Parisdistrict.

    Today, the Sacre Coeur isa holy place and a vibrentplace of devotion to theHoly Virgin.

    The Sacre Coeur attractspilgrims from the wholeworld. It has a network ofaffiliated churches.

    Day 5: Visit Basilique du Sacr-Cur

    Why visit?! The idea to build Sacr-

    Coeuras a tribute to the 58,000 lives

    lost during the French Revolution.
