Nouvelles IbPro-Armoricaines is an informal newslet- ter which will be issued annually. It is a form of con- tact between research workers around the world on Cambrian, Ordovician, Silurian and Devonian problems common to the Armorican Massif and the Iberian Peninsula. The newsletter deals with all problems of stratigraphy, palaeontology and sedimentology. Its most important purpose is to exchange information and ideas on palaeogeographic reconstructions and stratigraphic correlations between the Armorican Massif and the Iberian Peninsula, including the western Pyrenees. A large part is devoted to the problems of the Silurian- Devonian boundary. The first issue of the N.I.A. appeared in October 1974, the second in February 1975. The usual format, duplicated and stapled on A4 paper (3040 pp.), con- sists of: (1) editorial notes, (2) reports of meetings held and planned, (3) contributions from all workers ar- ranged according to stratigraphic interest and alpha- betic order of authors’ names, and (4) information about collections, publications, unpublished theses and maps, etc. Contributors are at present French, Spanish, Dutch, German and English. 50 copies of the second issue were duplicated.
