    Stan and Mrs. Donna Wohlenhaus aremaking plans to enter Brazil this fall toteach in the Bible Instit ute of Para,located inBelem,trainingBrazilianworkers,and to preach and teach Christ in othsrways as opportunity arises and as theydevelop familiarity with the language andcustoms.The f irst task will be to learn thePortuguese language and customs of thepeople.His home church (Central Church ofChrist,Griswold, Iowa) recommends him asworthy of support, and wrote, in part: *Inour estimation he will be an able laborerfor Christ in Brazil. Our convictions alongthis line have been backed up by ourprayers and material support throu^ hisfive years of Bible college and a summerinternship in Brazil. We believe Bro.Wohlenhaus andhis family tobe worthy ofall the support that any of God's peoplecan give him." The letter was signed byElton F. Lembke, chairman of the board;and Robert Chitwood, minister.Bro. Wohlenhaus becamea Christian inApril 1958 and enteredOzark Bible College(OBC) in Joplin, Mo, that fall. At Joplinhe decided for the work ofthe ministry andthrou^ the missionary emphasis at OBCbecame interested in missions. In the summer of 1961, he served on this field underthe summer internship program ofthe Lord'sReapers, missionary group of OBC, Hereceived the B.Th, degreeon graduation inMay 1963.

    Mrs. Wohlenhaus (nee Donna Wills )has had two years of study at OBC, Shecame from the Central Christian Church,

    Albuquerque, N. M., whichjoins in recommend ing them for the work. They weremarried Dec, 18, 1959andhave a dau^ter,Debra Lynne, a year-and-a-half old.He preached for the church at Seybert,Mo. nine months before going to the Christ ian Church, Faulkner , Kan , where he hasservedthree-and-a-half years. Earl Shipley,chairman of the church board there, wrotei n par t: " It i s with great concern that werecommend Stan and Mrs, Donna Wohlenhausto the mission f ield of Brazil. Stan and hi sfamily have served our congregation formorethan three years. We believe them tobe dedicated, ambit ious and hard workersfor t he Lord. . , . Any spiritualand financialsupport given them will be greatly appreciated."
