every individual minding his/his rights and duties can work with positive
attitude for maintaining equality, fraternity and liberty in our society.
thIn 20 June 1972 Late.Mugutrao Sahebrao Kakade-Deshmukh
established this institution to educate the down pressed communities in
rural area. The main purpose of educating the simple community has
been to promote social, economic, educational and cultural progress of
the people here. Along with the spread of education of this type, we
stress the importance of sports, social service, morality and endurance
among our students to take up all kinds of challenges.
Also, to face modern world challenges, this institution insists and
includesin the Education related Information Communication
Technology.
This college, hence, is an ideal model college in rural area for it’s
provision of B.A./ B.Com/B.Sc. B.C.A./M.A./ M.Com. Degree Courses,
good Library lager Playground, Hostel, Idyllic premises, learned and
well. Qualified Staff and helpful Non-teaching Staff.
I anticipates sincerely that students learning in this college shall develop

In 1972 June 20 this college was founded by the visionary man from Nimbut Late
Mugutrao Sahebrao Kakade-Deshmukh who was also a mind master in Sugar
Co-Operative sector in from of opening the Shri.Someshwar Co-operative Sugar
Factory for general well being and economic progress of all class people living in
this area and migrating cane cutter class from Vidharbha-Marathwada. But, he
found it no minds of future generation by making them available Higher-Education.
And hence, this exclusive college established in this rural area. The institution has
been imparting education to the rural and poor masses belonging to famring
community and backward classes. From here, canteen, mess, general stores, ST
stand, water supply and greenary were approachable. In 1989 a new Stone
Building was ready for this growing in strength of about 1438 students taking Higher
Education, absorbing new introductions like Computer, Internet, and
Environmental Science.
Right from the start, the college has non-interfering. Management and legacy of
principals such as Prin.S.B.Chavan, Dr.J.K.Ghunkikar, Prin.Mrs.S.P.Athavale,
Prin.S.V.Jorvekar, Prin.Dr.G.S.Angal, Prin.B.R.Bhadange, Dr.V.D.Rupnavar and
presently Principal Dr.Somprasad Kenjale, each contibuting his/her best for the
college development. Thus, management and principals have laid emphasis on an
all-round development of students and concern shown particularly for poor
students.
Library in this college is rich having about 41037 books, liberal for students.
The college has made the sportsman at the State, National and international level
The Seminars and Workshops regularly arranged as per university guidelines.
The experts in different fields have visited the college and guided the staff and
students.
The college is in consistant rapport with University / U.G.C. for changes in the
subject / courses. The college has been Accredited with B++ grade by NAAC in
October 2017 and permenantly Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. There
is an interconnectedness, brotherhood and dignity, a heart to heart relationship
ultimately to realise the dream of Mugutrao Kakade, for a completencess, a fullness

New Sylabus with Choice Base Credit System would be Introduced as per Savitribai Phule Pune University Norms.
These Subject groups (ABC) are meant for F.Y.B.A. students out of wihch a student can choose a subject as a special that is to be continued for S.Y.& T.Y.B.A.; hence from this special subject point of view a student can choose a suitable group.
1. Choose any TWO subjects from Group (A) (including Compulsory English) and any FOUR from Group (B) & ©
2. Students who wish to offer Special English for S.Y./T.Y. class should choose FOUR papers in English from Group (A), and ONE from Group (B), and ONE form Group ©
3. No change in subject/s will be allowed after the concerned student has filled in the Admission From.

Migration Certicate :- The migrating student from other University should manage to submit the certicate
from the previous University before 20th November, for delay extra fees will be charged.
GAP Certicate :- For those having a gap of a year or more must submit information with a Rs.20/- stamp.
Refund :- If admission is cancelled the student can have a claim only on deposite amount. The
amount will be refunded after fteen days from the receipt of the application.
Hostel Accomodation :- Only 25 students will be given admission for Hostel. Students from longer distances will
be given preference. Hostel fee will be 1000, Local student will not be considered for
Hostel facility. Mess charges of BC student's will be borne by the student themselves
During First Term 500 should be paid as deposit, in advance at the time of admission.

1. Every students should pay the fees and deposits at the time of admission.
2. For refund the student should apply through proper channel after completion of
the course / cancellatior of admission by producing the original fees challan to
account section.
3. Any change in fee structure from University will be displayed on the student’s
Notice Board.
4. Only deposits are refundable.
5. For Identity Card duplicate a ne of Rs.50/- will be charged.
6. The student should be always watchful regarding the notices of changes in fees,
if any, for negligence the ofce will not be responsible.
7. Rs.100 should be paid for Migration Certicate along with Application Form.
8. Rs.100 shuld be paid for Original LC & Rs.200/- for Duplicate LC.
9. Rs.5 should be paid for Bonaed Certicate.
A) The Term End Exam is held for each class for internal evaluation as per PU
circular No.209/2004, dt.27.07.04.
B) The Term End Exam, normally held at the end of the 1st term (Oct./Nov.) for
60 marks 2hrs. duration; and later these marks are converted into 20..
C) Supplementary Term End Exam is conducted in the month of August.
D) University Annual Exam is for 80 marks / 3hrs. duration.
E) Minimum 8 marks are necessary for passing in Term End, 32 marks are necessary
for passing in University Annual Exam.
F) ATKT to F.Y. & S.Y.B.A./B.Com, B.C.A., B.Sc classess is allowed as per University
circular 240/1992
G) ATKT for S.Y.B.A. is allowed for any Two heads / subjects; the same rule is
applicable for T.Y.B.A.
H) An F.Y.B.Com. student can shift to S.Y.B.A. course. ATKT rules are the
